Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 13th November

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

Michelle shares her suspicions about Robert with Carla. One of the midwives recognises Robert and when Vicky comes for a check-up, she tells her he has been in an accident. It’s a day of musical chairs in Robert’s room as he tried desperately to get rid of both Michelle and Vicky before they bump into each other.

Meanwhile, Roy and Carla return to Richard’s and are let in by a care worker who reveals Richard is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. Nina is less than impressed to find them there with Roy covering that he is Richard’s scrabble opponent. Later, Roy and Carla pay Richard another visit with Roy coming clean about his true identity.

Elsewhere, Gemma and Chesney need money thanks to Bernie making use of extras at the hotel. They meet with Freschos’ marketing manager who is keen to strike a deal. They’re stunned to be offered 60k.

Cain and Aaron apologise to Charity, but she is unreceptive to the apology and rails at Chas for defending Aaron. A fragile Charity confides in Vanessa how difficult things have been without her.

Meanwhile, Jimmy’s shocked to hear what he’s being accused of. Laurel is worried over how her friendship with Nicola will survive the accusations that Jai has made.

Lydia is sad but Mandy’s determined to fix things for her somehow.

Emmerdale, Wednesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Ste meets with Prevent and is surprised that the officer, Benjamin used to be a member of a far-right organisation. Benjamin explains that they want to get him out as soon as possible, but until then he needs coping mechanisms, distractions, to distance himself from Jonny and Stuart. Ste is relieved to hear that this time next week, he will be ready to start a new life.

Ste sneaks back to the house, but Sid is waiting for him in the yard. He covers for Ste in front of Stuart and Jonny but when Juliet reveals that Sid was with her afternoon, not keeping an eye on Ste, Stuart rounds on his son.

Elsewhere, Finn confronts Diane about Sinead’s wedding. Edward warns him to watch his temper if he doesn’t want to end up back in prison. Yazz tells Imran that she finds it easier to spend time with people that didn’t know her before she lost her hearing, like Finn, leaving Imran speechless.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Daniel records a video diary on the suggestion of his counsellor, Silas. In it he ponders whether it’s the right time for Joe to meet Daniel. Afterwards, Daniel sets off to the Icon where lunch with Adam gets off to an awkward start.

Meanwhile, Karen and Rob resolve to let Martha have some fun while she is living with them and take her out to a trampoline park. Karen tries to supress her doubts about Martha’s safety.

Elsewhere, Emma is excited as Adam arrives at her house with his twin brother, Gareth.
