Peppa Pig interest boon following baby news

Mummy Pig’s pregnancy bombshell sparks 71% demand boost for Peppa Pig World…

Searches for Peppa Pig World have soared by 71% compared to the past 90-day average following Mummy Pig’s pregnancy announcement, new data reveals.

The marketing experts at Baldwin Digital analysed Google Trends data on UK searches for ‘Peppa Pig World’ after Mummy Pig announced she was expecting on Thursday, 27 February.

Demand for the theme park in Hampshire, part of Paultons Park, rose following the reveal, with searches for ‘Peppa Pig World’ rising by 71% from the day before the news, Wednesday 26 February, until the day after, Friday 1 March.

Mark Baldwin, director and founder of Baldwin Digital, commented on the increasing demand, “With families looking to book staycations this summer, Mummy Pig’s pregnancy announcement could be a genius move to not only boost the popularity of the show again, but generate more interest in other ventures like theme parks, toys and more.

“With the new baby expected to make its on-screen debut this autumn, it will be interesting to see if Paultons Park uses this opportunity to attract more visitors with meet and greets, exclusive merchandise, and photo opportunities all around the newest member of the family.”
