On this Day 1974: Aston 1900s chemist shop

OTD, April 8th 1965…

Tony Maycock took a visit to the old-fashioned chemist shop located by the Aston Expressway in Birmingham.

Tony first takes a look at the outside of the shop on Hubert Street in Aston, Birmingham. Inside Tony talks to the owner Mr L. R. Morgan who has run the business for twenty years although the interior has little changed since 1910. Views of details inside the shop including pharmacy bottles and cabinets.

Sadly, this establishment and its time capsule from a past time no longer exists.
