‘Mitford sisters’ style fashion range released

Outrageous fashions…

Fashion brand Ghost is launching a 30-piece curated collection showcasing the distinctive style of the Mitford sisters as portrayed in the upcoming drama series Outrageous.

Set against the gathering storm clouds of the 1930s,Outrageous will bring the full, uncensored story of the infamous sisters to the screen for the first time in the six-part series set to launch on June 19th on U and U&DRAMA.

The summer Ghost | Outrageous edit merges the brand’s signature vintage-inspired elegance with contemporary silhouettes, drawing reference from the 1930s styles worn by Nancy, Diana, and Deborah Mitford in the new series. The Mitford sisters were known for courting controversy, scandal, and outrage in equal measure, leaving an indelible mark on history.

The edit has been curated by Outrageous costume designer Claire Collins alongside Ghost’s Head of Creative, Katelijne Kotzé. With Ghost’s signature vintage-inspired aesthetic at its heart, the collection draws on heritage motifs as well as modern cuts and silhouettes, ensuring the edit feels contemporary yet fashionably enduring.

Katelijne Kotzé:

“The Mitford sisters were known for their distinctive fashion sense. This edit is a reflection of their style , blending Ghost’s timeless design with modern sensibilities to curate pieces that feel both nostalgic and contemporary.”

Claire Collins:

“Fashion plays such a huge role in Outrageous that we wanted to bring this to life for viewers with a brand whose aesthetic truly felt like it could belong in the 1930s with its timeless silhouette, modern and wearable grace, yet still worn by women today.”

The collection was shot by Daniel Fraser, and styled by Sofia Lazzari, and is available to buy today from www.ghost.co.uk.Prices start from £89.

Outrageous is the story of six aristocratic sisters who refused to play by the rules, their often-scandalous lives making headlines around the world. It is a cautionary tale that explores how and why these women, unwilling to conform, were so ahead of their time – and what drove them to take their very different, contentious and often dangerous paths. A family saga like no other, this is the Mitfords as they really were: unapologetic, flawed and utterly human.
