On this Day 1975: Replica swords’ recreation process

OTD, May 15th 1975…

Peter Plant reported about the manufacture of replica swords at a forge in Nottinghamshire. The exact location was not given but it is said to been in a village near Hucknall.

Peter is seen during the feature wearing a suit of armour. Paul Gardner was interviewed about his business. He made swords in a small forge and sold them to the pub trade or to enthusiasts involved in historic battle re-enactments.
