It’s Kat and Alfie’s wedding day, but their concerns about Tommy and the video cast a shadow over their happiness. Alfie promises to talk to Tommy, but a series of mishaps distract him before he makes a mess of the conversation. Fed up, Kat steps in and talks to Tommy instead.

Later, Alfie admits he’s also made a mess of several wedding tasks, and Kat tells him she’s having second thoughts – the wedding is off.

Meanwhile, Denise tries to support Yolande and Patrick through the crisis in their relationship.

Elsewhere, Joel invites Tommy to come over to his place after the wedding.

The heat is well and truly on as police reveal they believe Nate was killed the very day he was meant to head off to Shetland—and Tracy’s got a problem. She claims she spent the whole day at Vanessa’s, but there’s just one small issue: it’s a complete lie. Cornering her sister at the café, Tracy begs Vanessa to back her up with a fake alibi. But later, when DS Walsh comes sniffing around the vet surgery, poor Vanessa is left like a rabbit in headlights. Will she lie to protect her sister… or crack under pressure?

Over at the Dingles’, it’s all smiles and snores as Mandy and Paddy convince Bear to see Dr Liam about his sleepless nights. But after his appointment, Bear tries to hush Eve with a sweetie bribe… and heads off, none the wiser to the chaos about to unfold.

Left to her own devices, a bored Eve starts snooping and gets into Bear’s sleeping tablets! When Mandy and Paddy wake from a nap to find Eve’s been playing pharmacist, panic erupts. Is it a near miss—or the start of something more serious?

Elsewhere, Kerry goes full party-planner and throws Pollard a surprise bash… but the only surprise is his announcement—he’s planning to sell the barn! Kerry’s jaw hits the floor, and the mood takes a nosedive. Cue deflated balloons and awkward silences all round.

As if Tracy didn’t have enough on her plate, things explode when she bumps into Ruby. Tempers flare, accusations fly, and before you can say “Nate’s murder,” Tracy slaps Ruby across the face! The slap echoes through the village and the locals rush to break up the fight. Is this personal? Oh yes. Is it over? Not a chance.

Tane introduces Archie to the beach for the first time, and they look out towards New Zealand. Tane is excited to have Archie for the whole day and proudly introduces him to Mali, John and of course, Alf Stewart. Eliza gets wind that baby Archie’s at the surf club and she and Roo arrive, but Eliza is immediately frustrated by Tane who won’t let her hold the baby.

Roo and Alf offer to start paying Eliza to keep her on task with her chores, and they’re impressed when it works. Later in the day, Alf isn’t feeling too crash hot and asks Eliza to grab his heart pills from inside the bait shop. But when she steps inside to get them, she pockets them instead and lies, claiming she’s unable to find them.

Alf’s confusion is escalated by his growing chest pain, but Eliza is adamant that she looked everywhere. Is Eliza really going to withhold the pills that could save Alf’s life?

Abigail asks Mackenzie if she can take the day off work to help Mali. She’s worried he needs help at the shop considering he’s working solo at the moment. Mackenzie gives her the day but reminds her Mali’s terrible at accepting help. Mali’s frustrated as he rejects help from both Abigail, and also Kirby – neither of them work for him anymore. He sends them away, insisting he has everything under control.

Kirby and Abigail brainstorm ways to get through to him and eventually mislead him into coming to Kirby’s place with a ruse of Kirby being deeply hurt by him. He admits it’s been a struggle to run the board shop alone and agrees for Abigail to help out a little while he and Kirby work on finding a replacement for the irreplaceable Kirby.

After being injected by Darcy, Karl is in a comatose state, and no one quite knows what’s going on. In hospital, Remi indicates it could be a stroke which terrifies Holly and Susan as they wait with bated breath to see if he’ll survive. While they all speculate on possible causes, Darcy stacks the deck in his favour by ‘finding’ opioids in Karl’s bag… Leaving everyone with the assumption that Karl’s stroke was caused by his addiction.

Wendy is in a funk. Her home life is a struggle, and her work life is a failure. When on shift with Nicolette, her low mood pushes Nicolette to give her some tough love – she either gets on with it, or throws in the towel, but stop complaining. This inspires Wendy to rally, and she comes up with a care package for Karl and Susan. But just as she moves into a better head space, Andrew discovers she’s been making enquiries in Stony Point, and she confesses she’s been looking for his family and… she found them.

Darcy has never been Paul’s favourite person. Unbeknownst to all, Paul’s been Karl’s confidant as Karl’s suspicions of Darcy have increased. Aber Karl has his dramatic health turn, Paul can’t help but keep a watchful eye on Darcy, feeling like there’s something underhand going on.

He warns Susan of Karl’s lack of trust, but she plays it down as paranoia plain and simple. Paul accepts this on the surface, but he believes Karl’s suspicions and decides to keep Darcy in his sightline.
