Global, the Media & Entertainment group, today announced the promotion of Jack Morlen to Director of Artist & Entertainment Relations…
Morlen will lead Global’s artist and entertainment relations strategy across its portfolio of radio brands – including Capital, Heart and Smooth – as well as overseeing bookings for all live music events and guest-led content.
James Rea, Chief Broadcasting and Content Officer at Global:
“He has helped shape some of our most memorable cultural moments – on air, online and on stage – and I’m excited to see him lead the brilliant Artist & Entertainment Relations team as they continue to deliver world-class content and deepen our relationships with artists, managers and industry partners. Jack has made a big impact since he joined Global bringing energy, creativity and determination to everything he does. It’s been fantastic to watch him grow and develop, and this promotion is incredibly well deserved.”

Since joining Global six years ago, Jack has played a pivotal role in securing some of the world’s biggest names for the company’s flagship events. Most recently, he was instrumental in delivering the high-profile line-up for this year’s Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard – helping create one of the UK’s most talked-about music moments of the year.
Jack Morlen, Director of Artist & Entertainment Relations at Global:
“I’m incredibly proud to step into this new role after six amazing years at Global. Championing new artists and emerging talent has always been a passion of mine, and I’m looking forward to working even more closely with our music and entertainment partners to create standout moments that travel far and wide across our platforms.
“I’m especially thrilled to take on responsibility for booking the artists for Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball – two of the most iconic music events in the UK calendar. Leading the fantastic team behind guest bookings across all Global brands is a real privilege.”
