Kat doesn’t feel any better following her conversation with Alfie and feels he isn’t being completely honest with her.

The drinks start flowing at Elaine’s pub party as Kim, Mo, Priya, Denise, Honey and Yolande join in. As the night gets steadily messier, Elaine shocks Linda by declaring the prosecco is on the house all night. Meanwhile, Phil and Nigel pop in for a drink and Phil notices how much Linda is struggling with doing to bar alone so ends up helping her out.

Later, tipsy Elaine offers to book Priya a singles cruise and she can pay her back later. Linda is horrified to see £5k leave the business account but when she confronts Elaine, she dismisses her.

Things are getting grizzly with Bear, and it’s not just his temper that’s roaring. Outside the garage, Bear totally loses it with the motorbike again — but this time, poor Kammy ends up in the firing line! In a shocking outburst, Bear threatens Kammy, and Paddy catches the whole thing. Talk about red flags!

Later at Tenant’s, Bear strolls in like nothing’s happened, leaving Paddy and Mandy absolutely gobsmacked. But behind Bear’s stiff upper lip, something’s clearly boiling — and when he storms upstairs without a word, Pads and Mands fear they’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg. Is Bear heading for a serious breakdown?

Meanwhile, Kammy can’t catch a break — not only is he recovering from Bear’s rage, but Vinny is giving him the full-on frosty treatment. What’s going on there? And over at the café, Tracy is having none of Vanessa’s explanations. She cuts her sister dead, making it crystal clear that excuses just won’t help this time.

Glenda and Sean hand out leaflets advertising the Rovers’ Drag Night. Todd suggests to Theo they should attend the Drag Night. As Theo replies to another of Millie’s numerous texts, Todd wishes he’d enjoy the evening. Todd and Billy are in their element but when Sean lets slip that Todd and Billy used to be together, Theo’s shocked.

When Todd spots Theo’s phone on the table, he switches it to airplane mode and Theo thinks Millie has gotten bored of texting him. Theo and Billy bond and agree to swap numbers but when Theo discovers his phone is on airplane mode and Danielle has been trying to call because Millie’s in hospital, he storms out. When Todd approaches Theo on the street, will Theo forgive him?

When Debbie admits to Bernie that she finds it hard being in the same room as Ronnie, Bernie suggests they head to her hotel and have a few drinks there instead. Debbie and Bernie arrive in the Chariot Square bar to find Brody there enjoying a drink with a mate but when Brody fails to provide ID, Debbie loses her temper and, picking up his drink, smashes it on the bar.

Dee-Dee opens a letter informing her that Laila is due for her vaccinations but when Michael tells her that James is in Leeds, she realises that she’ll have to take Laila herself. After the appointment, Dee-Dee admits to Michael that she found the experience emotional. Dee-Dee confides in Daniel that she’s not sure she’s mentally strong enough to go through with her radio interview. Will Daniel convince Dee-Dee to do it?

As Kevin readies to leave for his chemo session, he thanks Abi and Carl for all their support.  Abi and Carl exchange an awkward glance which doesn’t go unnoticed by Kevin. Abi receives a text from Debbie inviting her to join her at the Drag Night and Carl insists on looking after Kevin and Alfie.

It’s the day of DI Banks’ funeral, meanwhile, Marie brings Diane flowers from Arlo as an apology ahead of Ro’s court sentencing.

Back at home, Lucas confronts Ste and Dillon, convinced they’re having an affair after overhearing their conversation. Explanations are required.

Dodger runs into a sombre Clare outside saying Tori should have been allowed to attend the funeral and then drops a shocking confession…

Caitlin’s back in town. She admits to Maggie that her time away with Seb was wonderful but she needs to face the music. Although Sam wants nothing to do with his ex-fiancée, Maggie warns him he can’t ignore her forever.

Later, Caitlin awkwardly apologises to Sam but it falls on deaf ears and he delivers some harsh home truths – she’s a cheater and she’ll never be happy. When Seb finds out about the outburst he confronts Sam and tensions between the brothers boil over.

Seeing Mikey downbeat, Gillian suggests they go celebrate Pride together but he worries about bumping into Jonathon. Emma and Gillian decide to bring the Pride celebrations to Shieldinch but the party mood sours with the unexpected arrival of Jonathon and a startling confession, leaving Mikey heartbroken.

With debt collectors after her, Madonna lies about her money woes to a concerned Callum. Taking drastic measures to make some quick cash, Madonna feels the pressure of her spiralling debt.

Despite some severely bruised ribs, Sonny is pushing to be released from the hospital after a positive prognosis from Bree. Bree insist that he needs supervision upon release and enlists Remi to brainstorm options for keeping him safe from the River Boys. They go to Cash, asking if he can offer Sonny police protection, but unfortunately with no direct threats from the River Boys, his hands are tied. Remi decides to hire some bodyguards for Sonny on the day he‘s discharged from the hospital.

Dana goes to the Diner and asks Marilyn for a picnic hamper as a gesture towards Sonny, who she’s been attending to at the Hospital. Bree can sense a palpitable connection between the two of them that goes beyond a simple nurse-patient one, so she gives Dana Sonny’s number so that she can hand deliver the hamper to his home. Dana turns up to the hotel where Sonny is being held for protection, and they share a bottle of wine whilst Dana quizzes him on the need for bodyguards.

Theo baulks at the rehabilitation exercises he’s being made to do at the hospital. Levi is firm with him, reminding him of the serverity of his condition. Theo admits he‘s anxious to find Lacey and make sure she’s safe. Levi empathises and agrees that with such signficant mental stress, he can’t fully focus on recovery. This news reaches Leah and Justin, causing her to confesses that she confronted Lacey and told her never to speak to Theo ever again. That explains her absence. They decide to explain why Lacey is missing to give Theo peace of mind, but he explodes at both of them.

Justin turns up at the police station and asks Cash for personal reassurances for Theo’s safety. Cash gives him some solace… he’s all over it. Lacey overhears Justin in the next room and comes out, but Cash warns her that even Justin knowing where she is puts her in more danger. Justin tells Theo that he saw Lacey and she’s safe. Meanwhile, Lacey recieves a threatening voicemail from one of the River Boys at the station.

Home and Away airs 1:45pm on Channel 5, at 6pm on 5STAR with first-look screenings of the following edition at 6:30 pm. The series also streams on 5.

JJ comforts Nell as she frets over Karl’s condition. They run into Jasmine, who is happy to oblige when JJ asks her to call Elenora at Eirini Rising and translate a concern she had. Jasmine explains that Elenora’s medication has gone missing, which JJ and Nell pass on to Susan and Terese. Susan’s shocked to learn it’s one of the medications Paul mentioned could’ve caused Karl’s illness.

Later, Susan arrives home to find a frazzled Darcy on the street. The two sense each other’s nerves and do their best to diffuse the other’s suspicions. Susan attempts to wrangle Darcy after spottjng his packed bags in preparation to flee, engaging him in a conversation around the next steps in Karl’s care. Darcy offers to make them a drink before slipping a pill in Susan’s tea.

Byron, Jane and Nicolette stop to apologise to Sadie over the fallout involving Amanda’s will. Sadie reveals an altercation she had with Darcy, which sparks the interest of a passing Paul. He voices Karl’s concerns over Darcy’s involvement in Amanda’s affairs and encourages further investigation.

Byron and Sadie return having found a dividend statement for ‘Sage Keys’ in Amanda’s name. Byron quizzes Amanda’s lawyer, who reveals the shares were recently transferred to Darcy.

Needing to escape Erinsborough as soon as he can, Darcy encourages Susan to drink up and she obliges. As Darcy waits for the effects of the pill to take a hold on Susan, he feels himself start to waver before passing out cold. Waking up in hospital, cuffed to the bed, Darcy learns that Susan switched their tea and he’s now been caught. Darcy refuses to explain how he could’ve done such a thing to Karl and whether or not he killed Amanda.

Holly gushes over Susan’s bravery to a frail Karl, who tells Susan she’s his hero. As Darcy is led out in cuffs following his arrest, Jane confronts him, demanding to know what happened to her mother. But a deeply ashamed Darcy refuses to answer.
