Disney Store Opens at Westfield White City with Magical Fanfare

Disney Store brought magic to life at Westfield White City on Saturday…

Fans and families turned out to celebrate the grand opening of Disney’s, limited-time retail destination on June 28th. The festivities began at 12pm with the Disney Store Lock and Key Ceremony, welcoming guests with signature Disney charm and a special appearance from Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Throughout the day, guests enjoyed a host of family-friendly experiences.

The first 200 Guests through the doors received complimentary Disney ears and flags, making for a colourful crowd and celebratory atmosphere throughout the day. Shoppers also enjoyed early access to the Once Upon a Story Dolls collection and took part in exclusive Gift with Purchase offers and surprise giveaways.

Inside the store, visitors were treated to immersive décor that featured Tinker Bell, sculpted icons of classic characters, and specially themed displays for the newly released Lilo & Stitch film. The full summer shop collection, including towels, swimwear, and apparel, was available from day one — offering fans the chance to gear up for the season with a Disney twist.

The launch also builds on The Walt Disney Company’s long-standing partnership with Westfield Rise, the in-house retail media agency of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, which was recently renewed for another three years. Disney Store has selected this location to reflect an ongoing commitment to connecting with domestic UK shoppers in a high-traffic, accessible destination.
