Pick of the Plots: Friday July 7th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Friday.

Bethany shares with Mary her trepidation over Nathan’s court case. However, she’s dealt a blow when Sarah hears that insufficient evidence means Nathan won’t be charged. Later, Sarah confides in Mary that she’s going to seek Neil’s advice.

Whilst Billy frets about Summer, Todd takes action and visits Adam who gives him responsibility for Summer’s case. Later, Summer unburdens herself to Todd and talks at length about her Dad. Is Todd making a breakthrough with Summer? Meanwhile, Todd and Billy decide to get a place of their own and Tracy shows them round the flower shop flat.

Elsewhere, Gemma misreads a situation between Johnny and Liz causing Jenny to smart, Jenny smarts some more when Johnny reacts adversely to Matthew Singh; Eva and Leanne run rings around Aidan; Erica and Kevin struggle to resist temptation while Anna confides in Rosie about her lack of confidence; and Tracy’s scathing about Adam’s new office.

Steven continues to spy on Lauren at work but will he regret his actions?

The Taylors make a bad impression on Michelle. Later, Karen comes to a worrying realisation about Bernadette. Meanwhile, Michelle agrees to go on a date with Tom.  

Elsewhere, Dot gives Sonia cause for concern; Louise pisses Sharon off by approaching Phil about an issue behind her back; Mick and Shirley host Fi’s craft beer event at The Vic.

Charity ropes a reluctant Debbie into helping her in the bar so as she can have a holiday.

Sienna almost catches Warren with Grace. Warren is furious when he finds out about Grace’s set up and threatens her to stay away from Sienna. Warren has to stop Grace trashing The Loft but later gives her the chance to buy back half the club.

Maxine is sure that Darcy is lying about being homeless and decides to prove it. Later, Maxine doesn’t believe Darcy when she calls to say Toby has been rushed to hospital. Her and Adam continue to enjoy the opening of the Beach Bar unaware how ill Toby is.

Elsewhere, Simone becomes the new local councillor after Cindy takes pity on her; Granny Campbell finds out that Courtney is pregnant (again).
