Roy arrives in the Bistro for New Year’s Eve and reluctantly takes his seat next to Carla, but when he spots her mojito, he’s horrified and heads out. Carla catches up with Roy at the café and explains that she wasn’t really drinking alcohol, but lemonade. Later, Roy hugs an upset Carla and begs her not to return to Devon but to move in with him.
Meanwhile, Geraldine is pleased when Adam offers to help her get Summer taken away from Todd and Billy.
Elsewhere, Steve finds out from Daniel that Michelle and Robert have serious money worries; Brian asks Cathy if she and Alex would like to move in with him.

It’s New Year’s Eve and as Aidan pulls together the final pieces of his plan for the big job, the Carters prepare for their final ever party in The Vic. Seeing how tortured Linda is about losing their home and their livelihood and unable to let go of The Vic, Mick is faced with a big decision.
Elsewhere, Kush and Denise plan to spend New Year’s Eve together on their own but Kush is put in a predicament when he learns Carmel and Shakil have nowhere to stay.
