Pick of the Plots: Friday May 11th
We take a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Shona suggests that if he won’t go to the police, David should see a counsellor. But David’s adamant no one can know. They return to the Platts where David is arrested for failing to appear at court. Soon, Shona confronts Josh about raping David and has no time for his denials. Keen to build a defence, Josh focuses on wooing Alya. Shona tells a shocked Emma to get herself checked for STIs and to forget about David.
Meanwhile, Johnny’s convinced that something must have happened to cause Aidan’s suicide. When Kate labels Aidan’s actions as selfish, Johnny snaps at her for speaking ill of her dead brother. Jenny feels useless. Elsewhere, Carla tells the girls she wants the factory back up and running out of respect for all Aidan’s hard work.
Also tonight, Adam gets drunk in the Bistro and chats up a young woman but Daniel spoils his nookie plans when he reveals that Flora has come to stay.

Ian ropes Masood into planning a surprise party for Kathy while he meets the investor – Masood annoyed that Ian’s still not involving him in the business gets his own back. Meanwhile, Bex decides to give Sonia a makeover, and later suggests Martin take her to Kathy’s party as a thank you. Is she playing cupid?
As everyone waits in the café, a glammed up Sonia laps up Martin’s attention… until the Slaters arrive. Sonia tries to get back Martin’s attention but Stacey realises what she’s up to and confronts her.
Elsewhere, Max and Rainie try to play the perfect couple as they meet with the social worker; Phil confronts Max with a fist full of paperwork for the car lot acquired via Robbie.
EastEnders, Friday at 8pm on BBC One.
Pete is worried about Ross.
Meanwhile, Bernice makes an assumption.

Kyle is keeping up the pretence that James hit him whilst James, who was drugged by Kyle, is trying to work out what happened. When Ellie saying he needs to go to hospital, how will Kyle hide the truth?
James, feeling terrible, goes to see his dad at the home, he is furious shouting at him about how he was a mean miserable father and how he forced him to sleep with women. Kyle hears it all and he looks like he is softening to James. Later James tells Kyle he doesn’t deserve him and tells him to leave – the plan has backfired!
Elsewhere, Marnie confides a secret to Buster; Milo’s desperation to get rid of Theo increases.
Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Zara wakes up after her anxiety meltdown yesterday but is back in denial when Daniel hints she might still want to get some professional help. Zara insists she has processed everything, put her emotions back in the box and firmly replaced the lid. Daniel can see through this facade and casually suggests they might go out for the day – maybe a gentle walk and bit of shopping?
It is clear Zara isn’t quite ready to leave the house yet but she forces herself to go along with it. Later Zara realises there is more to their walk in the park than meets the eye but what is Daniel really up to?
Elsewhere Valerie’s day trip out is no picnic.
