Pick of the Plots: Tuesday May 7th
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Rainie accosts Sonia, stirring the pot about Stuart and Bex and explaining that she saw Stuart with a schoolgirl. However, her attention is soon drawn elsewhere she takes stock of the empty car lot forecourt. Across the Square, Ben revels in his plan and instructs Lola to be his alibi for last night. Before long, Rainie aggressively confronts Ben in the café.
As Ben plans his next step, Rainie is shocked when Max arrives home and reveals he wants to move forward as a couple leaving her furious. Over at The Vic, Ben drops a bombshell on Jay – Jay still legally owns the car lot land and offers to help him fight Max to regain control of the land. Meanwhile, Sonia confronts Stuart who insists he’s a changed man.
Elsewhere, Bailey struggles to come to terms with Dinah moving into a care home and wanting to help, Ted offers his flat to Mitch, Dinah and Bailey – he’ll move in with Patrick. Chantelle tries to make amends with Karen.
Also, Iqra and Habiba are caught off guard when Mariam and Arshad return, later an emotional Habiba opens up to her sister about recent events. Louise has a worrying realisation. Mo is delighted when Stacey asks her to move back in.

Billy recalls the night out to Ellis and Aaron.
In a flashback we see Billy searching for Ellis outside the club following the fire alarm going off. Soon it all becomes clear what happened that fateful night.
Meanwhile, in another flashback Leyla, Tracy and Priya are confronting Maya outside the club. As they drive her away into the night, Maya escapes with them in pursuit. Things take a terrifying turn…
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Maxine is in hospital after collapsing yesterday. She distracts Mitchell and swaps her blood sample with someone else’s. Later, Damon returns, and with help from Mitchell, proposes to Maxine. She says yes, thrilled that she has everything that she wants.
Meanwhile, Leela meets Amir, and he explains that she’s got the wrong end of the stick about him. Sami tells Amir that he can help build a court case for him against Stuart and Jonny. Later, Sami serves a restraining order for Jonny and Stuart to stay away from Amir and Shahid. Leela kicks Jonny out and Ste decides to go with him.
Elsewhere, Kyle asks Tony whether he’d be willing to start a delivery service at The Hutch. Tony gives him one chance at proving it could work.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Ayesha is at her first day of University when Oliver arrives late and begrudgingly sits next to her. He is pompous and tries to talk down to the class. When it’s Ayesha’s turn to put her case to the class Oliver continues to be difficult but Ayesha manages to put her case across patiently and eloquently – much to Oliver’s surprise.
At The Mill, Valerie and Karen take a sneaky look at Ruhma’s sketch book, she isn’t happy, especially when Valerie says she likes the horse she’s drawn. Ruhma hasn’t drawn a horse…
Enzo arrives for his cleaning shift and it’s obvious that Karen has worked out what’s going on with him and Becky. Valerie, however, hasn’t. Becky feels uneasy when Enzo suggests taking her out to a restaurant to get to know her better.
