SoapWeek: Corrie

In need of extra money Steve follows Tracy’s advice and stops for a young lad who flags him down, offering a hefty fee if Steve can get him to the hospital to see his mum. On their way the passenger asks Steve to stop off at a garage so that he can buy some flowers but it soon becomes apparent that all is not as it seems. Will Steve get out of a difficult situation unscathed?

Meanwhile, Shona is jealous when she walks in on David giving Natalie a lesson in how to cut hair. The police want to ask Nick some more questions. Nick and David panic, aware that if the police go through their bank accounts, they will want to know how they acquired such a large some of cash. Nick asks Paula for her help.

Elsewhere, Alina arrives for work a bit late with Seb in tow, Rachel’s unamused and makes it clear he’s not welcome at the salon. Later, Alina apologises to Seb for Rachel’s behaviour, but explains that she is one of the lucky ones as Rachel provides her with both a job and somewhere to live. Seb tells Alina he doesn’t like the way Rachel treats her and that he’s going to take care of her from now on.

Also, Ken offers Roy a room at number one as Carla doesn’t want him around; Adam returns and apologises to Imran for leaving him in the lurch.

Coronation Street, Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Karen and Mitch are distraught following Dinah’s actions and Mitch is further shaken when the police show him Dinah’s note. Keegan and Bernadette soon arrive and realising what has happened, Keegan rushes off to find Bailey. Back at the flat, Keegan tries his best to protect a distraught Bailey and takes her upstairs to the Taylor’s flat.

Meanwhile, Ben asks Keanu if anyone has stopped by with a delivery of him. Keanu plays dumb; however, when Ben sees his contact on the Square, he realises Keanu has double crossed him.

Elsewhere, Kat and Kush agree to keep their affair between them. However, their secretive stance may not last long when Kat invites Kush round to the Slater’s only for Martin and Stacey to return home whilst he is still there.

Also, Jack is helpless when neither Max nor Rainie can babysit Amy so he can meet Denise. As they bicker, Amy calls Mel who is happy to step in. Mel hides her surprise when she learns about Jack’s date and when Max enters, he winds Mel up.

EastEnders, Friday at 8.30pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

David’s stance causes irritation.

Meanwhile, Megan is overcome with guilt and is determined to tell Pollard the truth about the accident. But will she?

Elsewhere, Kim is persuaded to extend an invitation; and Cain learns the truth about recent events.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

The school’s investigation into Laurie and Sienna is over. They have decided not to take the case any further and they can both have their jobs back. The unjustly outcome shatters Sienna.

Meanwhile, Mercedes visits Grace in hospital who breaks down and reveals she can’t move her legs. Liam gives Mercedes more drugs to keep a lid on the situation. Later, upset by her continued immobility, Grace vows to Liam that she is going to kill the person responsible. With Mercedes upset, Sylver decides they need a holiday.

Elsewhere, Harry is pleading with DS Yates, but his phone was discovered at the crime scene. James tells Harry that if he ever finds out he’s been lying, they’re done.

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Sid is finding it incredibly hard to just enjoy his father’s birthday and pretend everything is fine. Following his mother’s explanation about his brother, his father privately told him a different version of events. Sid flares up and angrily lets it slip over his Birthday breakfast leaving Estelle furious. Estelle slaps Sid when he suggests maybe they’d have put him on the scrap heap if his meningitis had left him impaired.

Estelle tells Sid what really happened – his brother Laurence had severe disabilities and they didn’t think could give him what he needed so they left him. Sid feels like everything they’ve ever told him has been a lie and he burns his childhood memories, including a framed Oath stating ‘First do no Harm’.

Meanwhile, Valerie plays along when Becky says she knows why Daniel and Zara have split up and is stunned when Becky tells her it’s because of Sid. She can’t wait to tell everyone. Karen also laps up the gossip but is disappointed to find out that Al and Jimmi already knew.

Later, Georgio D’Agnostino comes to the surgery to see Becky and find out why they stopped their contract with his cleaning company. Zara seizes the opportunity to make Daniel jealous by arranging a date with Georgio.

Doctors, Friday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
