Donnachie will face stiff competition in the BMX Street event from ten-times X Game Gold medallist Garret Reynolds.

Scotland’s leading action sports athlete will face stiff competition when he travels to Shanghai, China to take on an elite field at the beginning of June.

Perth and Kinross-born BMX rider Alex Donnachie will be looking to add to the gold he won in the BMX Street event at the X Games Sydney in October, as he competes against a tough field which includes 10-times X Games gold medallist, Garret Reynolds from USA.

American Jackson Strong will be the motocross rider to beat as he looks to add to his four gold medals. In the BMX competition, Donnachie and Reynolds will be joined by two-time gold medallist Chad Kerley, who topped the podium in Minneapolis last year.

The Games will kick off at 4.00am BST on Saturday with the Men’s Skateboard Street Elimination followed by the Women’s Skateboard Street, Moto X Best Trick and BMX Big Air Final. Sunday’s schedule will begin with the BMX Street Final and culminate with the Skateboard Big Air Final at 9.00am BST.
