Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 17th July
The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
Sarah is in two minds over what to do about Gary, she’d rather not act rashly over a hunch but something isn’t right. Meanwhile, Sharon is suspicious of Gary’s story concerning Rick’s whereabouts. Soon, Gary is taken in for questioning by the police. Afterwards, he’s broken to discover that it was Sarah who reported him. Things get worse for him when Sharon drops the bombshell that Kelly has reported Rick missing to the police.
Meanwhile, the factory workers are getting fed up of the cramped conditions at the community centre. Sarah suggests they forfeit the bonus they are due to go towards the new factory. Beth sulks over the decision and although she returns to work, she offers to sell her shares first to Sean then to Paul.
Elsewhere, Tyrone orders Evelyn to adjust her attitude towards Roy; Jan calls at the nail salon and warns Alina not to get in contact with Seb again as it’s too dangerous.
Also, Maria goes on a date but gets a shock when her date’s mum joins them.

When Pete makes a romantic surprise re-proposal at Smithy Cottage, Rhona leads him upstairs to the bedroom for the first time since the accident.
Meanwhile, despite his back injury, Doug is determined not to relinquish control of the football team to Bob and Bear.

Sienna tells the police that she saw her twins yesterday, but after looking into it, the police report back that the twins are not hers. Later, Sienna calls the hotel and books a room for tomorrow… is she going to abduct the twins she thinks are hers?
Liam parades Cindy around The Dog to make Mercedes jealous, but Cindy realises he is using her and ends things. When Sadie returns to ask Liam for some more cash, Ste sees her and confronts her.
Elsewhere, Damon wants to cancel the wedding, but Maxine tells him it is the only thing keeping her going. Suspicious, Grace asks Damon whether he thinks Maxine faked her seizure yesterday. Later, Dr Levi says he believes she’s fabricating the symptoms.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
