Meanwhile, drunk and angry Vanessa rips into Tracy and tells Eric about her thievery.
Devastated by the betrayal, Eric fires Tracy on the spot as the quiet pub observes the spectacle.

Mali admits to Kirby that he’s giving Abigail space – she’ll call him when she’s ready. When they do reunite, Mali checks in on his girlfriend following her ordeal with Nerida. She admits counselling hasn’t made her feel much better about it, but after Mali bunks off work to spend the afternoon with her, she seems to be feeling better.
Abigail continues to put pressure on Levi – why is he still married to Imogen? Their dad used to bury his head in the sand too. Is that what he wants to do? Her words seem to get through, and Levi realises he needs to call his ex for an uncomfortable chat. He leaves her an awkward voicemail, and then finally tries again, getting through when he didn’t think she’d answer. Will she agree to an easy divorce?
Leah is reeling after learning the size of Theo’s loan – and the interest rates! She wishes he’d come to her and Justin first. Justin sees her point (eventually) and says he’ll see if he can change Theo’s mind while he’s still in the cooling off period.
Theo’s resistant – the car’s staying, and so is the loan. Remi offers him the money, but Theo doesn’t want a handout – he’s handling things himself. Theo again makes it clear that he’s set in his decision, and Justin gives the ultimate show of support when he turns up at the garage and mucks in on the work, and Theo’s thrilled to have his support.
Kirby tries to temper Remi’s reaction to Cash and Eden being back together – what’s the worst that could happen? Remi’s sceptical though – how many times can one person make the wrong decision. Levi asks Remi to give her the benefit of the doubt though – she knows what she’s doing.
When Kirby gets home, she’s shocked to hear the shower running. As she approaches, armed with a bowling pin, the door opens, and Kirby recognises a familiar face – Sonny?! Remi is pondering whether to send a text to Eden when he gets the call to come home, where he greets his old mate with excitement. Sonny heard he’s come into some money, so he thought he’d come and help him spend it!

Having been caught out, Karl struggles to explain himself to Darcy. Eventually Darcy reveals the truth about his drama with his last job – he was unfairly dismissed acer sounding the alarm over a patient rip-off. Karl’s left even more sheepish when Darcy realises he’s also stopped taking his medication – he orders Karl to get back on it, lest going cold turkey do him real damage. Karl almost comes clean to Susan about his struggles, but chickens out again.
When he thanks Darcy for his forgiveness, Darcy suggests there is a way he can make it up to him. A desperate Karl is all ears…
Andrew, Sadie, Aaron and Byron work feverishly to finish re-making Wendy’s missing jewellery. When Andrew finally presents her with the finished product, Wendy’s confused, explaining that she remembered she gave all the pieces away to her university friends before she left for Murrayville. The jig is up – Andrew confesses all. Wendy is amused and touched by the effort they all went to. Inspired by Wendy’s response, and desperate to reconnect, Byron arranges his own surprise for Sadie. He recreates their Bridgerton date.
But when it provokes tears from Sadie, he’s worried he’s pushed too far. Sadie confesses she doesn’t fully understand what’s going on with her, worrying she’s broken. Byron comforts her as the pair dance, promising she’ll get through this.
Leo announces to his family that they need to start planning for the worst possible outcome – him being sentenced to time in prison. Krista is appalled, and Paul struggles to contain his turmoil, lashing out at both Detective Rafe and Darcy when they come within range. While Rafe later informs Leo that the magistrate assigned to his case is notoriously tough, Leo becomes fearful.
Meanwhile, Paul’s fury at Darcy continues when he urges Chelsea to steer clear of the tarnished doctor. But Chelsea’s ability to talk Paul down from his hardened fury leaves Terese uncomfortable – the dynamic between them has her feeling on the outer. Picking up on this, Darcy once again pitches that he job share with Karl (now with Karl’s blessing), adding that he has a way to sweeten the deal. If Terese helps him out, he can also give her a hand with her problem – Chelsea. Terese is thrown by this unexpected offer… but will she take him up on it?

Gillian and Douglas’s romantic day together is scuppered when her daughter, Emma, makes a surprise visit. Sensing some tension, Douglas leaves them alone but Gillian doesn’t believe Emma’s arrival isn’t entirely innocent. Later, after being charmed by Emma, Douglas attempts to be peacemaker and tries to thaw Gillian’s frostiness towards her daughter.
Irked at his intervention, Gillian reveals that Emma has a track record of only appearing when she’s after something – and it’s never good. Douglas encourages Gillian to give Emma the benefit of the doubt. However, when the real reason behind Emma’s visit surfaces, Gillian is furious and disappointed in equal measure.
Elsewhere, Angus urges Amber to put some distance between herself and the Murdochs after a diagnosis of high blood pressure. However, Amber’s stress levels spike when Lydia confronts her about Shaw. Amber tries to explain what happened that fateful night but Lydia’s more concerned about keeping it a secret and keeping her daughter out of jail for murder.
When Alex arrives, the family discuss Lenny’s sudden obsession with Shaw. To Lydia and Amber’s surprise, he reveals his fears his father is going to frame him for Shaw’s murder.
Dean offers Carly some advice on her job application. Carly reveals the company are looking for diverse candidates but doesn’t her disability to be mentioned. When Dean disagrees saying it will be a positive step, Carly reacts defensively to his well-intentioned advice.
