Dana is back from Melbourne and eventually admits to Harper that she and Xander are over. The sisters commiserate over a drink at Salt, where Dana has a brief encounter with a flirtatious Sonny – how could anyone break up with her?

There is a spark, but Sonny is pulled away, and Dana is left alone again. She vents to girlfriends Rose and Bree, and she doesn’t pull her punches when it comes to her ex, prompting Rose to issue a warning – that’s her brother that Dana’s talking about. Rose confesses that she’s really struggling with Xander’s departure – with her brother gone, what’s she even doing in The Bay?

Sonny is a day one Lyrik fan, and when he finds out from Kirby that the band is done, he’s gutted. Particularly for Remi. They go for drinks to reminisce, and Sonny makes Kirby his wingman – he’s got his eye on an attractive girl at the bar.

When Bree returns home the next day, she finds said cute girl in Remi’s bed and jumps to conclusions – did Remi just cheat on her? After a drawn-out confession from Sonny, who’s loving stirring them up, Sonny finally confesses that the girl in Remi’s bed was his one-night stand, to Bree’s huge relief. That morning, he seeks out Kirby and he resumes his interrogation from the night before – is she truly ready to give up on her dreams of playing music?

Cash can sense some hesitation in Tane, and as his best man, it’s his duty to clear the air – Is Tane one hundred percent on the wedding? In other words, does he love Harper? Tane can’t say for sure that he does, but he’s convinced that love will come with time, and he’s determined for the wedding to go ahead. Whilst Cash can’t understand the need to rush things, he relents – Tane he knows what he’s doing and his friend needs support.

Later, he tells Eden he’s Tane’s best man, and she urges him to support his mate. Her words are weighted by personal experience with Remi, who still won’t support her and Cash. When Remi does rock up later, he’s drunk after indulging in tequila with Sonny and he finally pledges his support – it’s Eden’s relationship, and he’ll follow her lead from now on.
