Peter Green reported on A History of Myddle, written by Richard Gough in 1700 and 1701, which had finally been published in 1981. It tells the story of the village near Shrewsbury and the people who lived there.

Peter read excerpts from the book in St. Peter’s church at Myddle and talked to locals in the pub about some of the revelations and comparisons with village life in the early 1980s.
