Party nightmare for Aadi in Coronation Street

Aadi’s Midsummer soiree ends in terror, tears and a drug-fuelled nightmare…

Aadi Alahan decides to shake off his stuffy image in Coronation Street next week, and as he swaps a quiet night for a party — he and his friends end up at the centre of one of the most shocking nights of chaos Weatherfield’s seen in years.

It all kicks off when cheeky Bernie brands the younger lot boring, prompting Aadi to prove he’s anything but! He throws open the doors of No. 7 for a midsummer party that quickly spirals from fun… to frightening.

With music pumping and mates crowding in, things seem harmless — until resident rogue Brody Michaelis crashes the bash, bringing more than just vibes. Armed with a bottle of LSD, Brody starts flogging the hallucinogens like party favours. A horrified Aadi boots him out, but the damage is already done.

To Aadi’s dismay, Summer persuades him and Nina to give it a go — after all, she tried it in America, so what could go wrong? Famous last words… Aadi splits the tabs into three drinks — but just as he’s about to join in, he’s pulled away. By the time he returns, his drink is missing. And someone else has unknowingly taken it.

Meanwhile, Lauren is already feeling off and leaves the party… only to end up in a terrifying ordeal of her own. Alone, vulnerable and in danger, her night turns into a nightmare. Back at the party, a tripping Nina and Summer sneak into the darkened café — but the arrival of sirens sends them into a fearful frenzy. What exactly has happened outside?

As the dawn breaks, the fallout begins — and it’s clear this night will have long-lasting consequences. With trauma, secrets, and regrets swirling, the street is left reeling. Can the truth of what really happened ever be brought to light?

“Aadi is coerced into throwing the midsummer party when Bernie calls out the youngsters for being boring. As the trailer shows, there is nothing boring about this bash but things don’t go quite to plan.” – ITV

An ITV trailer previews the drama here.

Coronation Street, Monday June 23rd at 8pm on ITV1 and STV – or stream early from 7am on ITVX and STV Player.
