Elaine has gone big for Patrick’s party, and when the Trueman-Foxes arrive, the ladies are horrified, but Patrick is delighted. Meanwhile, at the house, Denzel is welcoming his friends and fobs the little children off with a movie. Joel arrives and tries to bribe his way in with alcohol, and later, he and Denzel go to The Vic, where Elaine agrees to let them have a glass of punch each.

Unbeknownst to Elaine, the boys steal jugs of punch to take home, but once there, they leave them unattended. The teens are horrified to realise Raymond and the twins have drunk the punch.

Having fixed the mess she made, Nicola is ready to welcome the guests for their party. Billy and Honey try to get into the spirit, but there’s a shock when Zack arrives. Harry is gleeful as Nicola throws Zack out, but Teddy rushes after Barney. During a deep conversation, Teddy promises to support Barney if he wants to get to know Zack.

Felix wants Bernie to give Johnny her seal of approval, unaware that he helped cover up Keanu’s murder. Denise fears that if Johnny doesn’t win Bernie over, it could bring the past back to haunt them all.

Meanwhile, Vicki is checking the Panesar accounts when she notices some strange invoices. However, when she raises it with Bernie, her concerns are dismissed. Elsewhere, Denise advises Phil to look after himself, as well as Nigel.

If Robert thought things in the village couldn’t get any worse for him, Robert finds himself laid out in the back of his half-brother John’s van. The question the murderous John now has to ponder is what he is going to do with his problem sibling.

There is also trouble lurking, like the ghost of Amos in the back halls of the Woolpack, for Billy when Joe meets Shaun and enlists his tactile abilities to educate his partner’s ex with a thoughtful lesson in manners.

Masturbation is on Jacob’s mind, but its not a quickie in the back of the shop, oh no. This is no fun pull. With Sarah’s fears over her mortality causing her to doubt her recent medical quest to have her own baby, she’s left stunned when Jacob offers to be the sperm donor.

Summer and Nina retrace their steps from the night before. Will they find the answers they’re looking for? Bernie apologises to Aadi and Asha for Brody’s behaviour, hoping he didn’t ruin the party. Meanwhile, someone’s condition deteriorates after accidentally and unknowingly taking LSD. Kit tells Aadi that there’s been a report of drugs at the party and he’ll need to make a statement. Will Aadi tell the truth? Summer and Nina discuss the incident that they witnessed the night of the party and agree that they have no choice but to keep schtum.

Debbie calls Kevin and makes out that she’s staying at a spa hotel to clear her head but as she hangs up, it’s clear she’s calling from a police station. After taking a call from Debbie, Abi picks her up. What happened to Debbie?

Kit tells Sarah that he’s definitely Brody’s Dad while a worried Liam confides in Maria that Gary isn’t answering his calls and he should have been back from his Mum’s by now.  Maria masks her concerns for Liam. Where is Gary?

Steve takes divorce papers to Tracy and suggests she checks them over. When Steve makes out he’s not doing anything for his birthday, Tracy forms a plan.

Cassie spoils Steve and as she pulls him in for a kiss, Steve receives a text from Tracy telling him they need to discuss the divorce papers and to meet in the pub. Steve meets Tracy to find out he’s been duped into birthday drinks with no intentions of discussing their divorce. When Steve makes excuses and leaves, Tracy follows him. How will Tracy react when she finds Cassie and Steve together?

Eddie and Tyler suspicions are stirred when they both notice a black car following their every move. Outside his flat, Eddie is stunned to discover the identity of who has been watching them – Viv Barton, Tyler’s mum.

At the pub Eddie demands an explanation from her as Harry told everyone she died thirty years ago. Viv reveals she had post-natal depression and left her family, believing it was best for everyone. Despite getting better, she knew Harry would never accept her coming back.

Shocked by her confession, Eddie opens up about Tyler’s troubles and the extent of Harry’s control over his son. Eddie hides Viv from Harry but he later urges her to leave immediately…for all their sakes. However, Viv has other ideas, determined to reconnect with her son regardless of the danger.

Ahead of Mulvaney visiting Lenny, Lydia admits she wishes she could go too but he urges caution. At the hospital Mulvaney is troubled to see how weak his old friend is. Vulnerable, Lenny admits he doesn’t feel like himself anymore.

Later that night, Lenny’s unsettled when fellow patient, Mack, asks what’s going on, sparking an angry reaction. Hurt, Mack reminds him he’ll need a pal, leaving Lenny to reflect.

The police investigation into Chloe’s death gives cold comfort to Sonny who continues to find solace in alcohol. Gillian gets whiff of Sonny’s secret drinking and despite her reassurances, he’s resolute in blaming himself and drinking to numb the pain. At the end of her tether, Gillian leaves Sonny to his self-loathing.

Mali sets up the board shop for the day, receiving Abigail’s threatening voice mails, warning him that Deb (Abigail’s mother) will want to meet him. Mali’s insulted that his girlfriend doesn’t trust him to meet her mother and is determined he will show up tomorrow and turn on the charm when he introduces himself to Deb.

As Abigail, Mackenzie and Levi are showing Deb the surf club, Mali intercepts them and soon they’re all headed up to Salt for a family meal – much to Abigail’s terror. Mali’s charm gets off to a good start, even John gives him a glowing review, but it all comes to a head when Mali missteps and says – Abigail’s doing really well now.

Deb pulls up at the word ‘now‘ and Abigail’s drug abuse history unravels very quickly. She’s wounded by Abigail not reaching out to her sooner, and while they spend quality time working it out, Levi councils a despairing Mali. When Abigail emerges, she lets him know she’s going to stay with Deb for a few nights, and she makes it clear there’s nothing he can do – he’s done enough.

Leah meets with Levi who updates her that Theo should be discharged in the next few days, but he has to hold back from further information when she reveals she’s been banned from visiting him. Leah tries leaving messages for Theo and against Irene’s advice, Leah goes to the hospital to see him directly. Levi stumbles across her waiting by Theo’s bed and asks her to leave, but Leah refuses – if that means he has to call security, then do it. She’s not going anywhere.

Irene speaks with an upset Roo, who is determined to not give up on her foster care aspirations. Meanwhile Marilyn checks in with Alf, and he’s glad he said what needed to be said – Eliza won’t be coming back.

Home and Away airs 1:45pm on Channel 5, at 6pm on 5STAR with first-look screenings of the following edition at 6:30 pm. The series also streams on 5.

Remi and Cara are stunned with Taye’s confession, particularly Cara who cannot reconcile the story with the Lydia she knows. Both are supportive of Taye, but Taye remains anxious. JJ and Dex are told what has happened and are over-awed. Cara confronts Lydia who denies everything and threatens retaliatory action. Cara tells the Academy, who arrange for Lydia to be re-assigned while someone else – an old friend of Lydia’s – will be put in charge of Cara.

Cara is worried about possible blowback, so Taye approaches Byron for help. Byron pleads with Lydia to not involve Cara. Byron reports that she seemed to agree. Cara is hopeful. Taye is warmed by the support of his family and friends, but we sense trouble lies ahead.

Saskia is nervous about her first day at Erinsborough High but is encouraged by the support of Max and the Ramsay Street residents – including the suggestion of a barbecue to be held in her honour. Saskia’s first day at school goes well, meeting Dex – who instantly develops a crush – JJ and Wendy (also on her first day). As she prepares for the party, she thanks Max for all her support and he is hopeful his shy, studious sister will come out of her shell.

Saskia is very taken by Byron and later on asks him to adjust her bikini strap. She then propositions him and lays on a kiss. So much for shy Saskia.

Wendy is nervous about her first day teaching at Erinsborough High and Andrew is supportive. Wendy’s first day goes well, and she feels great. Meanwhile, a parcel arrives for Andrew consisting of old photographs and other mementoes from his biological family. Holly comes over to check on Andrew and they wind up going through the box together.

Holly is moved seeing Andrew go through such an emotional time. So moved, she loses track of time and joins the ‘welcome’ barbecue late. Max is further disappointed when she’s called in to work and she can’t spend the evening with Saskia. Holly feels guilty for letting him down.
