From summertime to Christmastime next month brings a mix on Acorn TV…
The Madame Blanc Mysteries returns to the wonderful world of Sainte Victoire, packed with unusual antiques and objéts d’art, murder, mystery, sunshine and laughter.
Sally Lindsay (Cold Call, Love Rat) returns as Jean White, who is navigating a fledgling romance with her sidekick Dom Hayes, played by Steve Edge (Starlings, Murder They Hope, Maxine).
In this “Christmas” episode, Jean and Dom investigate when a puppeteer is murdered after a Christmas Eve performance at a Sainte Victoire market. Meanwhile, Judith receives a card from a former bridesmaid that contains a disturbing truth about her marriage.

Another festive offering comes from The Chelsea Detective. Chloe Carmichael, former popstar and one-time darling of the tabloids, is found dead in her Chelsea mansion flat in the days leading up to Christmas.
They first suspect a drug overdose, but forensics soon establishes that Chloe had been drowned in the bath. Max (Adrian Scarborough) and the team must contend with a string of potential suspects, including her hard-bitten manager, a conniving journalist and a Tory MP. Each of them has a secret connecting them to Chloe, but who was it that killed her?

And now to summer with Summertide. After losing his beloved wife Julia (Amalia Uys) to tragedy, renowned marine biologist Martin Field (Frank Rautenbach) leaves his old life behind and moves his rebellious teenage son and daughter to his childhood home in Simon’s Town to begin again.
With Julia’s memory as his driving force, he pours his heart into setting up a conservation trust to protect the marine life along the False Bay coast in South Africa. Will he find calm in these waters or does his past hide painful secrets beneath the surface? The series runs for twenty-one episodes.
