Meanwhile, Willmott-Brown, Max and the Chairman share a toast ahead of their big plan tonight – what’s going on?

Mac is rushed to hospital where Marnie takes the blame when questioned by DS Thorpe. She’s released pending further investigation and the family finds out that Mac has survived, but has ‘locked in syndrome ‘.
Dirk, dressed as Santa, spies on Holly and Damon to make sure she’s ok. Damon confronts Dirk at the Christmas light switch on and everyone is shocked when Santa Dirk pushes Damon into the Christmas tree.
Elsewhere, Lisa confronts Cleo whose response prompts her to decide to leave the village; Sally is full of hope after her kiss with Myra.

At breakfast Al tells Eve he has a tricky patient due in today. Would she mind if he practised a psychometric test on her? Eve agrees. She fumbles over quite a few of the questions. Al is very concerned but later his mum throws him off by giving him some of the answers. He wonders if she was playing him… Heston tries to calm Al’s fears.
Meanwhile, tensions are high between Zara and Daniel. Rob reveals that La Toya is on the mend but in no fit state to testify. Zara gets Rob alone and asks him to promise her that all of this will be worth it; she is putting her family through so much. Rob can’t make any promises. After Rob has left Daniel loses it.
