The actor has already secured further work with a production of Dean McBride by Sonya Hale and will bow out of Walford next year, Metro.co.uk reports.

Reilly, who has also had roles in Casualty and Call The Midwife, joined the EastEnders cast last year as the second actor to play Johnny.
Sam Strike originated the role when Shirley’s family were introduced in 2013, but opted to leave a year later.
Storylines involving Johnny since his return have included supporting Ben Mitchell following the murder of his boyfriend Paul and being shot by PTSD-sufferer Ted Murray.
The beeb have released no details on how Johnny will depart Walford.
