SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale this Boxing Day 2017.

Adam gets his hands on a letter that Todd left before his departure from the Street, informing Billy he’s taken Summer away until the heat dies down. Adam is knocked for six that Todd knew about Billy’s part in Susan’s death. Later, Daniel returns home to find a semi-conscious Adam on the floor having taken painkillers with whiskey.

Meanwhile as Eileen quizzes Billy about his fall, convinced there’s more to it and the Barlows know something, Billy suddenly arrests and is rushed to surgery, will he survive?

Elsewhere, Carla begs Roy to keep her secret; Jess pops in to see Craig and tells him he should apply to join the police, meanwhile Bethany tells him she does want a relationship with him but needs to take it slowly; Alya is upset with Aidan.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

It’s still Christmas day in Walford and as the full horror of what’s happened unfolds, it is clear that life for the Brannings will never be the same again. However, it is not just the Branning’s world that is ripped apart as the consequences of Max’s past actions have far wider repercussions…

SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Gerry’s nursing a hangover after his first Dingle Christmas, whilst Liv’s pleased to hear that Aaron’s going out for a drink with Alex later. 

Meanwhile, Aaron confides in Faith that he’s worried about how Alex will react to his self-harm scars. Faith empathises due to her own experience. However, when Aaron finally does tell Alex what’s been on his mind, Alex is appreciative of his honesty and things get passionate between them. 

Elsewhere, Rebecca’s thoughtful after seeing unopened presents from Robert to Seb but Chrissie urges her to throw them away.
