Pick of the Plots: Wednesday April 25th
We take a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
With Tracy adamant she wants Billy out of the flat, Shona and Adam vow to try and help Summer and Billy. Shona asks Adam find a way to try and persuade Tracy to change her mind and she offers to move in with Billy and Summer to act as guarantor.
Meanwhile, Rana begs Imran to find a way that Zeedan can raise the money for the restaurant. Imran surprises Zeedan by saying he would like to invest. Zeedan later thanks Rana for talking to Imran and gives her a hug which doesn’t go unnoticed by Kate.
Elsewhere, David’s family confront him about his recent behaviour; Aidan worries that Summer has a crush on him; Angie persuades Tracy to let her do the florist bookkeeping; and Liz does her best to appear keen when Mike invites her to see a high-brow film.
Coronation Street, Wednesday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.
Frank struggles to find a job. He offers his service to Rishi at the factory, soon Frank bites down on a flicker of pride as he’s offered work on the production line.
Meanwhile, Tracy meets up with Bails unaware of who he is.
Elsewhere, Nicola’s in a foul mood after Misty’s session with Jimmy; Brenda’s invites Laurel to the wedding with a steely resolve.
Emmerdale, Wednesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Darren returns home to find out his dad has married Darcy. Esther pushes Jack too far and he tells her to leave. Darren advises Nancy and Tom to form a united front or Jack will disown them all. Later at the party Jack announces he is healthy enough for a bypass after all… what will Darcy think of the news?
Meanwhile, Sienna makes contact with an old acquaintance. Later she is waiting at The Hutch, unaware of a younger 20 something guy watching her.
Elsewhere, Courtney and Goldie get their own back on Jesse; Adam is continuing to work with his dad but keeping the truth from Maxine.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Ayesha has been thinking a lot about her proposal for Mrs Tembe’s money and tells Ruhma that she knows of a night bus which gives provision for vulnerable people, many with mental health problems. It’s an initiative she has long admired and something that she would like to give her support to. Maybe the money could fund it to come to Letherbridge?
Later, Ayesha hears Al and Heston debating their individual pitches for the money, Heston for minor surgery, Al for an app he wants to build. They sound so confident, and so intimidating that all of Ayesha’s confidence slips away. Ruhma tries to persuade her to stay in the game but to no avail.
