Mrs Tembe heads to The Campus for its unveiling with finishing touches in hand. However, when she gets there, the reception is covered in dust sheets, it’s a mess and the sign saying ‘gone to lunch’ fills her with anger. When she returns to The Mill, Daniel tells her to just cancel it, there’s no need for a launch, but she disagrees and is determined to have it ready.

The Vice Chancellor calls to check timings, and attendance, and Valerie let’s slip that Jimmi won’t be attending, and just like that, nor is the VC. Mrs Tembe is disappointed when she finds out. Later, the staff arrive at the Campus with low expectations but are actually rather impressed with the makeover.

Meanwhile, Jimmi’s ex-wife Mandy – who’s staying at Emma’s B&B – arrives at the relaunch, but doesn’t let on who she is.

Doctors, Friday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
