Pick of the Plots: Tuesday June 5th

The latest goings on in River City, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: River City

Caitlin faces a tough decision between Pete and Gabriel. Theresa comes under pressure when the family discover that Molly is unwell. Meanwhile, Suzie sets out to derail AJ’s campaign.

River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Jack overhears Ian bragging to Kathy about his date with Mel and confronts her at E20. She explains about the robbery and that she needs to replace the money ASAP. Jack and Mel brainstorm with Billy about how the money was stolen, Billy suggests it could be an inside job and accidentally makes himself look like prime suspect. Woody suggests the bottle left on the bar could have been drank by the culprit.

Meanwhile Martin and Stacey go back to Dot’s again to pick up where they left off but this time they are caught by Sonia who tries her best to hide being upset. As Sonia explains that this will only confuse Bex, Martin tells her they just want some time to themselves.

Elsewhere, Carmel installs a home-made knife surrender bin in the Community Centre; Kim’s revulsion to certain aromas intrigues Denise who convinces her to take a pregnancy test.

EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Pete’s worried that Ross has a lunch date with Rebecca, thinking it might be a mistake, but Victoria’s optimistic. When Rebecca doesn’t show up Ross storms out and is soon found by Dawn. It’s not long before one thing leads to another between Ross and Dawn.

Rebecca feels hurt when she realises what happened between Ross and Dawn whilst Ross doesn’t appreciate people’s interference. Later, Pete publicly confronts Debbie about ruining Ross’s late. In the backroom, Debbie admits to a horrified Chas and Sarah that she was involved in Ross’ attack.

Elsewhere, Charity confronts her painful past; Liv arrives home.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

It’s Harley’s birthday party but Nico has been watching Peri and Harley’s relationship from afar and clearly has a plan. She gets Sienna out the flat and heads to the party in disguise, set out to get rid of Harley….

Yazz is increasingly worried about Alfie when she sees him talking to himself in The Bean. She encourages him to come to the party but he tells her to leave him alone. Tom has more luck but is also concerned.

Meanwhile, Hunter is suffering from his anxiety but reluctantly agrees to go to the party with Prince. Hunter gets drunk quickly and later tries the laughing gas. When he passes out party goers take photos of him unaware he is in trouble… whilst Prince gets a text from Lily who has found out he has gone to the party without telling her!

Elsewhere, Holly is fuming Dirk is moving back in but Milo tries to persuade her that Dirk wasn’t looking at her on the laptop. Later, Dirk gets a shock when he finds his daughter Liberty on the door step.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Daniel is perturbed by Emma’s interest in becoming a partner. Zara takes Emma to the spa of Daniel’s golf club, but Mrs Tembe tags along too and puts forwards her argument for Emma going for partner, as a counter-weight to Daniel and Zara. Emma outlines her conditions. Mrs Tembe cannot agree officially, but would push them if necessary.

Zara finds it hurtful that she and Daniel are being portrayed as dictators. She points out to Emma that it can be lonely, a partner is always the bad guy. Emma says she will let them know her decision in due course.

Elsewhere, Ruhma encourages Alia not to be pressured into doing anything, and asks if Tarks would like to come for dinner?
