Kayla sits by Neil’s hospital bed after he was attacked by another inmate in prison, meanwhile word reaches Bethany and Craig that Neil has lost his appeal. As Bethany comforts Craig over being dumped they are shocked when Kayla arrives and tells Craig she wants him back. Later, Kayla inwardly seethes hearing talk in the pub of Neil’s unsuccessful appeal. Back at the flat, she tells Craig she loves him. 

Jack comes round from the operation, fighting back tears Kevin tries to explain to him that they have had to amputate his foot. Meanwhile Sophie confides in Kate that Kevin blames her for Jack’s illness.

Elsewhere, Alya accuses Carla of tampering with the Bradshaw order; Audrey is on to Maria’s secret venture; Sarah stands up to Ryan; and Duncan is thrilled when Sally tells him his fund request has been accepted.

Cora reluctantly leaves baby Abi with Max and Rainie for the day and shares her woes with Patrick who encourages her to fix her relationship with Rainie. As Rainie looks after Abi alone, Cora arrives and suggests they move on from the past but they are interrupted by Max. Cora’s motives soon become clear when she gets Rainie alone again and gives her a tempting offer. Max spots the exchange and questions Rainie’s loyalties.

Meanwhile, Mick is furious to hear about Stuart’s intimidating behaviour towards Linda. Stuart apologises; insisting it was just a joke and makes a peace offering. Tina returns home and is surprised to see Stuart there.

Elsewhere, Martin Stacey he wants his house back.

Cleo is hiding Bobby at The McQueen’s but when he goes to the toilet he sneaks downstairs finding Goldie, Hunter and Myra, giving up the game. His grandfather Carl comes on the TV in a police appeal, begging Mercedes to return Bobby to him. Later DS Roxy turns up at The McQueen’s to search for Bobby.

Meanwhile, Nancy turns up to The Bean to hold her tutoring classes, she is being watched by a young girl who receives a phone call, revealing she is Fran’s daughter, Brooke.

Elsewhere, Kim is trapped, she calls Farrah for help but her phone runs out of battery; and Jesse has money woes.
