SoapWeek: Corrie

Rana is desperate to see her father, so Kate suggests they fake a split to appease Rana’s mum. Saira agrees to let Rana visit her father but as Saira tells Hussan that Rana has seen the error of her ways he squeezes his daughter’s hand and passes away. Rana is wracked with guilt that she lied to her father on his deathbed.

Audrey’s taken aback when she receives a prison visiting order from Lewis. Audrey’s left torn by soon-to-be released Lewis’s claims of being a changed man and his declarations of love for her. Gail is suspicious of the £40k Lewis has transferred to her bank account, but Audrey suggests maybe he’s turned over a new leaf?

Elsewhere, Carla asks Sarah to stay on as PA at the factory while Leanne is interested in a PA vacancy at the solicitors; Peter resigns from Streetcars and tells Carla he’ll be working at the factory full-time; Gina hires Sally’s old school pal Paula Cunliffe to represent her; and Billy feels guilty when Josh blames him for the fact he’s now blind.

As Liberty and Cindy reel from Milo’s revelation, DS Roxy tracks him down and takes him in for questioning. DS Roxy reveals she knows who he really is…Simon Jones. She releases him telling him he wasn’t to blame for Dirk’s death but that he needs to tell the Cunningham’s who he really is.

Meanwhile, in Milo’s room Cindy finds an address for his lock up in where she discovers a wall of images of her and her family and newspaper cuttings of The Cunningham’s crash. Milo returns and catches her there.

Elsewhere, Sally gives Glenn an earful for being late on building the school and says the board of directors would like to see his accounts, leaving him panicked. Mandy gives Darren an ultimatum.
