Kim proceeds to invite everyone back inside but within minutes, with her acid tongue, she is offending every single one of her guests, making solid enemies by the second..

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

In a special episode, Hollyoaks explores Cleo’s ongoing battle with bulimia and the repercussions it has on her health.

Cleo recalls every detail of her wedding day from the second she wakes, to walking down the aisle, to her psychiatrist Farrah. She tells her how excited she felt about becoming Mrs Dexter. Farrah interrupts her story, and it is revealed Cleo has been telling lies, as she sits in a hospital bed, she eventually admits the true sequence of events.

She used whitener to cover her rotting teeth, and makeup to cover her bruises, and after accepting a bacon butty from Nana McQueen forced herself to be sick afterwards. She admits that purging provides a sense of relief before guilt sets in. Cleo goes on to reveal that her weight-loss means her wedding dress was ill-fitting and she was anxious that someone would notice. She made it to the altar despite being weak on her feet but could only manage half the vows.

Breaking down to Farrah, Cleo admits it should have been the most amazing moment in her life, but then everything started fading away…

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Jimmi and Emma awkwardly laugh off what almost happened between them last night and agree to continue with their dinner party challenge. Emma says she’ll host the first one this Friday – besides Al, who Emma isn’t keen on coming, who else can they invite? Earwigging, Valerie says she would love to do it.

Later, Ayesha tells Valerie she isn’t looking forward to her date with Leo tonight, because he wants to do some yoga and she’d prefer a box set. Valerie suggests Ayesha draw up a pros and cons list to help her weigh up exactly how she feels about him. However, the list is later found by Leo. Ayesha points out that the pros outweigh the cons but he isn’t happy.

Meanwhile Emma is intrigued when she gets a text from local business man Ivan bloom who wants to donate to Karen’s crowd funding campaign for James. Emma suggests what James really needs is a job. Ivan agrees to meet him.

Doctors, Wednesday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
