Mary tries to return the cheque to a suspicious Roy who realises that there is something going on. Mary later walks out on the Good Samaritan Awards whilst good things are being said about Jude, and Roy follows her. They return in time to see Jude accept his award as Angie looks proudly on. Will Mary be able to bite her tongue?
Meanwhile, Nick becomes aware that Toyah and Leanne aren’t satisfied with their flat so puts a deposit down for them on Johnny’s old one in Victoria Street. Leanne’s adamant that her and Nick are just friends but Simon urges Nick not to give up.
Elsewhere, Chesney has arranged to meet Gemma at the bistro but is disappointed when she brings a mate along. Emma steps in to make up a foursome – she likes Chesney but Gemma and Chesney secretly fancy each other. Cathy is still wary of Phil; Kevin Greg invites Jack to a training session with the blade runners and Kevin’s pleased to see his son so happy.

Leyla tells Vanessa she is determined to move on from Clive and concentrate on her career but Megan is fuming when their clients start cancelling due to Susan’s scathing review.
Leyla laments over Clive but then is angry at herself for believing he loved her. When Clive suddenly appears and begs for a chance to explain things. Leyla is torn but will she forgive him?

Marnie is horrified when James reveals he knows Romeo is his son unaware that she knew all along. He decides to brace the storm to confront his dad.
Meanwhile, Imran struggles to control his temper and lashes out at his mum. Misbah flees into the night. Sami goes out looking for and comes across a woman in the middle of the road who he offers a lift to, it’s Sinead.
Elsewhere Rose’s unknown whereabouts sparks panic; Lily is worried that Romeo is out in the storm and sneaks out.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Karen is in a bad mood with Rob but warns him not to miss his appointment with Heston today. Rob arrives at The Mill, sheepishly checking if the coast is clear. Heston tells him coming off the antidepressants was a reckless thing to do and patiently explains the reason why Rob experienced the ‘brain zaps’, and suggests that he should have been more open with Karen. Going forward, Heston suggests they implement a programme where he cuts down gradually.
Meanwhile, Emma suggests lunch at the Icon to Karen and Ruhma as they could both do with a little cheering up. At lunch, Karen vents about Rob’s stubbornness, but Ruhma makes an odd reply. And as Emma tries to get Ruhma’s order, it’s a bit awkward – it becomes clear that Ruhma is struggling to hear them properly. Back at The Mill, Ruhma googles ‘hearing test’ and grabs some headphones.
