Pick of the Plots: Thursday March 7th
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Doctors and Coronation Street.
Seeing Stacey’s concern, Kat hatches a plan to get Jean’s results and enlists Martin’s help. Kat’s plan to pose as Jean falls through, but Martin later reveals that he managed to make a note of Jean’s results on the sly. At Kat’s suggestion, Martin takes the information he jotted down to Sonia, however they’re not prepared for what she tells them.
Meanwhile, Whitney tries to get Tiffany to open up about what’s going on while Karen tries to get through to her son. Later, Karen is surprised when Whitney calls round to thank her for calling the police. At the same time, Evie manipulates Tiffany into thinking that her family don’t love her. Later and feeling alone, Tiffany meets Evie and heads to a party.
Elsewhere, Mel receives a letter about Hunter’s plea hearing and needing cash, sets her sights on Walford East; Stuart’s attempt to help Bex with her studies backfires.
EastEnders, Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Kerry, Jessie, Marlon and Paddy arrive in Belfast, and Kerry opens up to Jessie that she’s there to find her daughter Amy.
As Marlon and Paddy search for Bear in a busy pub, things take a turn for the worse when the crowd mistake Paddy for a wrestler and drag him to the ring. As a stunned and protesting Paddy faces his terrifying opponent, Bear Wolf saves the day. Later, Bear is stunned to see evidence that Paddy is his son.
Meanwhile, Billy and Ellis once again are at loggerheads, but this time over Tracy when one of them kisses her; Aaron and Robert agree to refocus; and Charity’s knocked for six by a phone call.
Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Lily tells Prince that she’s seeing Romeo, and she comes clean about having an affair with Romeo before Christmas. Prince rages through the street, finds Romeo, and punches him. All the teens discuss their relationships:- Peri talks to Lily, Tom talks to Prince, and Romeo talks to Harley. As Lily goes to walk home she encounters Prince and Romeo, and chooses to be with the latter.
Meanwhile, Peri, Tom and Harley try to convince Ste of their relationship, but Peri confides in Lily that she really only wants to be with Harley. Later, she is overcome with jealousy when Tom and Harley kiss, so she plants a kiss on Jonny.
Elsewhere, Mercedes refuses to take drugs off Liam, but that doesn’t stop him from sabotaging her hen night. He plants a bag of coke in Mercedes’ handbag, which is later found by Sylver. Jonny scares Imran away from The Bean and Ste gives Yazz short shrift.
Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
The doctors treating Sid have run an accelerated test for arsenic and have found traces. Rob arranges for some uniformed officers to pick Charlotte up for questioning. Joyce and Rob interview Charlotte who emphatically denies any wrong doing but she’s caught out when they reveal that they know she’d met up with Sid on more than one occasion.
Zara is aghast when Becky admits to having seen Sid and Charlotte together. How could she not think anything is wrong with a doctor having coffee with one of his patients who is a convicted murderer? At the hospital, Sid’s tests come back and confirm he was poisoned.
Elsewhere, Rob tells Karen that he can’t go on the cruise.

Seb hears Anton and the other foreign builders sharing a joke and convinced it is about him, squares up to Anton. Later in the pub Seb can’t hold back his anger and has a go at Gary about Sarah, a scuffle ensues and Seb finds himself jobless.
Meanwhile, Nick is flirtatious when a woman he recognises from a nearby salon pops into the barbers but the wind is taken out of his sails when she reveals she is Rachel the owner of his rival salon and intends to put him out of business.
Elsewhere, Rana decides to give Lolly another chance; Geoff slips and puts his back out in Speed Daal leaving Yasmeen no option but to ask him to move in whilst he recovers; and Paul helps Gemma move into No.5.
