During a counselling session at the university, Jimmi hears from Jordan who’s a virgin and part of an online group called INCELs (involuntary celibates). Jimmi points out that these kinds of groups are misogynistic and their beliefs about how to treat women are questionable.

Meanwhile, Ayesha talks to Sadie who’s had a breast removed after finding a lump and discovering that she has the BRCA gene. Her boyfriend dumped her just before the op and now she’s hesitant to go with another boy, Greg, in case it all goes wrong again.

Jordan continues to tell Jimmi how awful women are; they are money grabbers that only like attractive men. He talks about Nietzsche and the ‘Ubermensch’. Later, Jimmi shares his concerns with Rob and later invites Jordan back to the surgery where he rebuffs his theories on why he repels women and tries to get him to see that he isn’t an INCEL but a guy who just hasn’t had a girlfriend yet.

Later, at an 80s party, Jordan plucks up the courage to talk to Sadie whilst Greg is at the bar. He tries to get her to dance by pulling her away, she tells him she’s at the party with someone and Jordan moves away quickly and watches them from the bar. Sadie is unnerved…

Doctors, Wednesday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
