Steve is faced with a new dilemma when after being cajoled by Tracy into getting back to work, he picks up three lads from a bowling alley who refuse to pay. As Steve reaches for a baseball bat, one of the lads flees and is hit by another car. Getting to his feet, the lad would rather not make a fuss about it as he plays for Weatherfield County and could get into trouble. Steve takes him back to the cab office but is horrified to find the police there. What will he do?
Meanwhile, Nick fears the net is closing in as Paula comes looking for him and Leanne starts to grow uneasy about what’s going on. Nick tells Gary to be vague about how he was paid for the barber shop job and Leanne is shocked when Sarah tells her that Nick paid Elsa out of the factory accounts not the other way round as he had made out. Leanne, Sarah and Toyah ponder Nick’s dodgy finances, concluding that he must have done a deal with Rick the loan shark who they need to track down.
Elsewhere, Shona is still unhappy about the amount of time David is spending with Natalie while David tries to let Natalie down gently after she kisses him; Sally is inspired by Sophie’s pony-trekking holiday; and Roy tells Wayne to stop using him to glean information about Carla.

Sinead recalls everything that happened to the police. A flash back shows what happened after she admitted the truth to Diane and Tony.
Laurie gives his version of events to the police, explaining that Sinead is a jealous person. A police officer talks to Sally, who lends credence to Laurie’s claims. Meanwhile, Sienna is unwavering when she finds the police on her doorstep.
Sinead lies about the dates slightly, as she doesn’t want them to believe that the rape happened so close to when a happy picture was posted online, so she tells them the first assault was 1st April not realising that Laurie was away on a camping trip with Sienna at that time.

Jimmi, Daniel and Becky are set to go ‘Forest Bathing’ and the rest of The Mill is quite surprised they’re going. Meanwhile, Valerie arrives at Ruhma’s house to have her portrait painted, with Ruhma quickly asserting that ‘clothes off’ isn’t necessary. Ruhma accidentally tears up Alia’s revision notes whilst disposing of some reject pictures.
Later, Valerie comes up with an unusual way of trying to help Alia remember her notes. A rap! Alia isn’t keen so. Ruhma wonders if they can make a song to some Mozart, so that Heston can help.
At the Forest Bathing day, Daniel is taking a while to get into the zone and Jimmi and Becky are concerned abo. After getting some stuff off his chest, Daniel manages to relax into it; however, he’s already thinking about how difficult things will be at the Mill again tomorrow with Zara.
