Later, Liam gets called in to the police station for questioning. Once alone with DS yates, Liam asks him to name his price, trying to buy his way out of prison.
At the school, Ste and Stuart ambush Sally about the Prevent assembly. Ste’s anger rises when Laurie enters, which leads to Ste being kicked out. Later, Ste, Jonny and Stuart put up posters around the village, stating that Muslim culture has no place in schools.
Elsewhere, Joel awkwardly encounters his ex-fiancé with new boyfriend, Mitchell. Cleo invites Joel to the cinema with them tomorrow.

Registering the impact his words have had, Daniel helps Ferdy fix the teleprompter while Becky distracts Ferdy’s dad, Philip. Daniel’s speech goes well. As he and Becky celebrate afterwards, Becky moves in for a kiss.
