Pick of the Plots: Thursday 4th July
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
Stuart visits Callum and suggests they spend some time together, but he has chosen an inopportune moment as Callum uncomfortably models Whitney’s pride shirts. Instead, Callum finds himself going for a drink with Johnno at the Vic where Mick warns him that his dad is bad news.
Ben antagonises Johnno after yesterday’s comments and the pair come to blows in the toilets with Johnno storming out afterwards. Later, Ben offers advice to Callum based on his own experiences before kissing him on the cheek. Stuart witnesses the exchange.
Meanwhile, Kat tries to get to the bottom of the stolen money but she has no luck with Mo and Stacey. Her suspicions turn to Martin after she overhears a tense conversation between him and Kush.
Also, Bernadette is devastated to realise that Tiffany has been posing as ‘Sophia’ – the girl she has been talking to online. Iqra shows Habiba some tough love.

As Jacob and Pollard visit the shop, David is desperate to build bridges with Jacob but despairs when he walks out again. David decides to reach out to Jacob on a gaming network.
Meanwhile, the police continue to investigate the bones that were discovered at the school. At the police station, DI Bradwall reveals the photo of the most likely candidate for the baby’s mother – a 16-year-old Jenny Finn. She appears to look a lot like one of the villagers.
Elsewhere, the Dingles scatter Lisa’s ashes; Doug tries to make amends; Victoria makes a decision.
Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Breda confronts Mercedes at The Dog flat with a mallet hidden behind her back, but Mercedes leaves without noticing. Mercedes storms over to the McQueen’s where she gets into a row with Sylver, but as the pair calm down, Mercedes opens up that she feels undeserving of her great life. She wants to make things right, and it seems Sylver does too.
Meanwhile, Tony asks Harry to have a talk with Ste and see if he can help him while James calls on Sami for a second opinion on Harry’s case. As James leaves the Maalik’s, he overhears Harry and Ste talking in Ste’s back yard.
Elsewhere Darren, Kyle and Tony go out for a drink to celebrate profits being up at The Hutch. Things get a bit awkward when Darren and Kyle recall their sexual histories with Nancy.
Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
