Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 9th July
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
As Honey revels in ideas for the new flat, a mention of wedding bells from Linda gives her food for thought. Later, Honey panics when she can’t find the shop keys, so she seeks out Adam for his help with the CCTV and almost catches him in a clinch with Habiba. Having accepted an offer of help from Billy instead, she breaks the news to him that she is thinking of proposing to Adam leaving him heartbroken. Honey later gets a shock.
Meanwhile, Bobby’s attitude continues to frustrate Ian but after some home truths from Kathy, he goes to see Abi. When Ian learns Rainie has disappeared with Abi, he’s adamant they call the police. Fed up of Max and Jack’s excuses, Ian calls Rainie and makes things worse. Later, Ian and Max hear from Rainie – she wants to meet at Joanna’s Café tomorrow…
Elsewhere, Gray antagonises Mitch into signing up to the charity run and Chantelle misses an opportunity to help. Jack pressures Adam for the money for the flat, Bobby is elated by a phone call, and Martin and Kush meet up in secret.

Victoria is hell bent on leaving the village, so she and Diane prepare Keepers for an estate agent viewing. The arrival of Lee’s mother throws a spanner in the works. Robert distracts the estate agent as Victoria and Diane steer Wendy away. Wendy is adamant that she is going to be a part of the baby’s life, revealing that Lee may go for custody.
Meanwhile, David and Jacob quietly resolve to keep Pollard stress-free following his health scare. Leyla is shocked to see them getting along. Slowly, a plan begins to form.
Elsewhere, Moira subtly warns Amy off Nate. Amy is unimpressed when Kerry makes a show of herself at the pub. Debbie asks Ryan to advise Matty about women and soon a new idea is launched.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
James confronts Liam whilst he is with Grace, Courtney and Jesse and announces that he paid Sadie to not give Harry an alibi, and he tells Grace it was Liam who ran her over. Liam admits to paying Sadie but says that he only did it to ensure that justice was served on Harry. James’ doubts leads Harry to end their relationship.
Meanwhile, Prince and Romeo accidently destroy the outside display at Price Slice. Walter insists they pay up and Martine suggests that they can work there over summer, but they would rather work at Tom’s Turtles. Tom agrees but only if they start getting along.
Elsewhere, Jonny sets Ste up with Jed but they don’t hit him off. Jonny and Ste encourage Ste to stick at it, knowing that Jed shares their ideology, but Ste later tells Harry that he wants him back.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
