Pick of the Plots: Thursday 11th July

The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

Max suggests to Ian that they meet Rainie without Jack, keen to prioritise Abi, and as they sit and wait, they are stunned when Stuart arrives. Meanwhile, Rainie sneaks into the Branning’s to retrieve Abi’s toy but Jack catches her red handed leading Rainie to resort to desperate lengths in an attempt to flee. At the café, Stuart reassures Ian and Max, saying that Rainie has gone on holiday for a break and will be back soon.

Having missed the opportunity with the journalist, Chantelle breaks the news to Mick, but Shirley saves the day with a photographer friend. As everyone gathers for a photo, things don’t go to plan leaving Linda upset. After a helpful chat with Karen, Linda decides to get behind Mick’s plight.

Elsewhere, Bobby dismisses Kathy’s efforts to settle him back into Walford and meets with a friend from young offenders. Following his friend’s advice, Bobby appeases Kathy and agrees to look at home tutors.

Also, Mo goes to shocking lengths to get Kat and Stacey to see sense.

Meanwhile, David is preoccupied with the result of his blood test.

Elsewhere, Priya is struggling with her eating disorder and Andrea is worried about her. Will confronts Dawn.

Harry is devastated that he has missed his chance with Sadie – with James claiming he got drunk and passed out. James feels awful to realise that Harry was telling the truth. Later, Marnie realises that James spiked Harry.

Meanwhile, Mercedes and Liam make love in the four-poster bed Sylver made for her, with Liam forced to hide when Breda walks in. Mercedes feels guilty after talking to Breda who invites her for a picnic tomorrow. Later, Sylver apologises to Mercedes and they make up. But Mercedes panics to receive an ominous text – ‘I know what you’ve done’.

Elsewhere, Maxine calls in the help of Sienna to organize her wedding. Maxine lies to Sienna and Damon that she is meeting a private doctor when in reality she is just looking at wedding dresses. Ste has a date with Jed but it doesn’t go well. Jonny and Stuart make it clear to Ste that they don’t like putting effort in when he’s not grateful.
