Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 16th July
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
Jack comes clean to Tiffany about what happened between him and Fraser and also tells Max that he is in trouble. Denise is affronted when Jack asks her to provide him with an alibi, but refuses to tell her why. Tiffany feels guilty when she hears that Denise has ended things with Jack. Later, Jack receives a tip-off that the police are on their way to arrest him, and Max suggests he go into hiding.
Meanwhile, Shirley spots Ben returning to the Square after an all-nighter and warns Phil about his son’s behaviour. After speaking to Lola and Keanu about it, Phil takes drastic action. Later, Shirley’s suspicions pique when she spots Jean with new items of clothing, but back at the Slater’s, Jean returns them to Stacey – she doesn’t want any part in Phil’s missing money.
Elsewhere, as Rainie goes to desperate lengths to escape the hotel without paying, Kathy shares some heated words with Max. Gray suggests Keegan joins him for a day in the office.

Aaron is shocked by Robert’s plan and heads off, determined to stop Dawn from going after Lee. Robert follows but little do they know; Dawn is already flirting with Lee who has offered to take her somewhere quieter.
Meanwhile, as David worries about his hospital results, Jacob unexpectedly arrives to support him.
Elsewhere, Vanessa decides to throw a surprise engagement party for Rhona and Pete; Debbie has a confession, and Lydia confronts Nicola.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Damon makes an excuse as to how he managed to pay off the venue. Damon, Maxine, Grace and Sienna go to view the wedding venue. The manager, Susan tells them they have only paid the first instalment, and they owe another £7,000…
Maxine is furious, and fakes a seizure. Susan offers to waive the rest of the fee after recognising Maxine from her This Morning appearance. Sienna and Grace are about to leave the venue until Sienna notices two young twins. She runs after them, believing they are her children.
Elsewhere, Mercedes thwarts Liam’s attempt to cause trouble between her and Sylver. Liam goes on a date with Cindy to make Mercedes jealous. Joel and Goldie carry on their secret relationship.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
