Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 14th August
The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
As Robert is heading out Michelle asks him to take her engagement ring to be resized. However, Robert is diverted when he takes a call from Tyler who says that Vicky is leaving. Vicky rails at Robert – she refuses to be his dirty secret any longer. But as he leaves, she finds something which prompts a change of heart. Later, Robert finds himself in a very tricky situation with Michelle and Vicky.
Meanwhile, Emma tells Audrey she has got no desire to trace her real dad out of her respect for the man who raised her. Emma tells Steve that her mum lives abroad but was originally from Weatherfield and is called Fiona Middleton. Liz tells a stunned Steve that he probably has another daughter.
Elsewhere, Geoff muscles in on Yasmeen’s bridge club plans. Asha hides a tub of skin-lightening cream from Dev. Bernie gets a parking fine and embarks on a scam to pay it off.

Faith is determined to get Zak smiling again and the pair soon find themselves having a laugh about the old days. However, Zak feels guilty for having fun without Lisa and storms out.
Eventually, Faith manages to get their reminiscing back on track and coaxes a smile out of Zak. This leads to a brief kiss between the pair before they’re interrupted. Meanwhile, Sam and Lydia have exciting news.
Also, Amy is thrilled to have another chance; Marlon makes amends.

Ste meets Jed who has a memory stick of evidence he has collated on Johnny and Stuart. Ste is unsure of the plan, but Jed begs him to start understanding. They arrange to meet again later to do the handover of evidence to the police. Meanwhile, Stuart’s wife, Alice, approaches Sinead and tries to convince her that Stuart and Johnny aren’t as bad as they seem. Sami convinces Sinead to let Ste see Hannah before he fights for custody.
Ste is touched when he hears that Alice talked to Sinead for him. Ste admits to Jonny that he has something to tell them about Jed. Soon, Jed is confronted by the group and Ste is manipulated into attacking him.
Elsewhere, Mercedes decides to spend time with Liam whil Sylver and Bobby are away. Nana hears them in the bedroom. Goldie kisses another man to make Joel jealous.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
