Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 15th October
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
After some persuasion, Kathy lets Rainie take Abi to the park despite making a promise to Max that she wouldn’t let her have her. At the same time, Stuart confides in Bex that something isn’t quite right with Rainie but to his surprise Bex encourages him to trust her. Stuart tracks down Rainie but is devastated by what he sees Later, Rainie pays Kathy a visit and resorts to desperate measures.
Meanwhile, Martin tells Ben he doesn’t need any back-up as they discuss an upcoming collection job. Sonia and the Taylors are intrigued when Keegan and Tiffany say they have an announcement to make.
Elsewhere, Mick asks Mitch to hold the fort in the pub while he goes to the doctors about his ongoing panic attacks. Linda demands an explanation when she finds Mitch behind the bar and is concerned when she learns that Mick is at the doctors.
Also, Whitney agrees to a drink with Leo.
EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Victoria tells Robert and Aaron that Lee has died, which means Robert could now be charged with murder. As Robert starts to unravel, Liv suggests he and Aaron go on the run. Later, Aaron tells Chas about his plan before driving away with Robert, ready to start a new life.
Meanwhile, Nicola is furious when Jimmy throws a whitey in front of an important council ‘big-wig’ after accidently eating Rodney’s space cakes.
Elsewhere, Moira continues to evade Pete.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Mitchell and Scott wake up next to each other in the caravan and Scott is quick to tell Mitchell that he doesn’t want to be his dirty little secret. But after James advises him to abandon his pride and go for what he wants, Scott later summons Mitchell to The Dog car park and tells him he wants him in any way he can.
Meanwhile, Jesse presents Liam with adoption papers for Iona. Grace can see that Liam is putting on a happy front and he confides in her that Iona reminds him of everything that is good in his life, but he’s terrified of failing her. Later, Joel confronts Mercedes about the voice note. Liam pledges his support to her as long as she runs away with him.
Elsewhere, Peri finds Romeo squatting at the Maaliks but he doesn’t want the help she offers when he tells her that James hit him. Leah and Charlie have come up with a resolution to Cindy’s bird problem but Charlie loses patience with Leah when she calls him a nerd.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Imogen is alarmed when Karen suggests that she has lost weight and starts to think it might be related to her health concerns. When Rob comments that she is looking a bit peaky, Imogen flees to the bathroom in tears. Rob manages to coax her out and Imogen finally tells him that she might have breast cancer. Concerned, Rob consoles his upset daughter and then phones Sid – can he get Imogen an appointment with a private specialist as soon as possible?
Sid asks if there might be any family history that could be relevant to Imogen’s situation. Rob says he’s confident about Karen’s side of the family but he’ll look into his. Later Rob meets Imogen for lunch and tells her he made some calls and there’s something she needs to know…
Elsewhere, Valerie is ready to talk to Karen about a piece of art that has significance for her. But will she gain the closure she is seeking?
