SoapWeek: Corrie

Tracy’s in for an awkward afternoon when Sally arranges a little hot tub party, unbeknown to her and Steve who are having a dip of their own. With her fling in attendance, Tracy struggles to mask her unease as Leanne devilishly goads her about what she got up to on New Year’s Eve. When Steve clocks the tension, Tracy admits to having a one-night stand.

Meanwhile, Tara shows Gemma and Chesney the photos from the shoot. They’re hurt to see actors have been edited in as the quads’ parents. Later, Bernie realises that Suki is from the Gazette and suggests that she run the story about Dev sacking a father of five. Chesney is on the cusp of resolving his differences with Dev when Bernie wades in. As Chesney rails at Bernie for scuppering his job, Gemma realises she has no choice but to sign Tara’s Frescho deal.

Elsewhere, Geoff makes a dig about Yasmeen’s clothes and insists on taking her out to buy some new ones. He’s riled when Yasmeen suggests meeting Cathy in one of her new outfits. Tyrone warns Fiz that lying to the police could backfire.

Mitch asks Honey out on a date in response to Karen and Bailey ribbing him about his love life. As the date gets underway, Mitch quizzes Honey when she orders a salad and things get worse when Honey overhears him talking about her to Bernadette and Bailey.

Meanwhile, Billy asks Karen if she’d like to come with him to the beauty pageant. Ben reassures Louise and take her and Peggy to the pageant. With the acts underway, Ben is elated when Lexi performs a dance especially for him. Janet wows the judges with her performance but as Honey and Billy join her, Billy can’t hide his frustrations.

Elsewhere, Vinny gets involved in Keegan’s business but is shocked to learn Iqra is his business partner. Chantelle is rude to Kheerat on purpose.


Ben reveals he has a date and Phil realises that he has broken up with Callum.

Desperate to keep up appearances, Honey makes food for herself and the kids in front of Billy. Later, Lola sees Billy researching eating disorders and Billy is forced to tell her about Honey.

Meanwhile, with help from Vinny, Keegan’s moped arrives but as the pair head off to make a delivery, they are stopped in their tracks. The pair rush to Gray’s office with the sandwiches but an unimpressed Gray reveals their lateness has cost them.

Elsewhere, Denise asks Lola to manage the salon leaving her elated. Across the Square, Whitney’s good mood is short lived.

Sienna is jealous when she sees Liberty and Brody together in Marnie’s salon de thé. She’s unaware that she’s being followed by Warren. Martine urges Sienna to remember why Liberty and Brody slept together.

Meanwhile, Jesse finds out that Azim is a wedding planner and asks him for help with his wedding to Courtney, but Azim doesn’t think Jesse can afford him.

Scott thinks Azim needs bringing back down to Earth. Azim agrees to help Jesse as long as Scott will be his assistant at Jesse and Courtney’s beck and call, day or night.

Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Jimmi’s cellmate, Leon, winds him up saying he’ll call off his pasting. A riot occurs, and lockdown commences. Jimmi flinches at every noise. Leon tries to help by reading from Jimmi’s Buddhism book, but it has no effect.

Meanwhile, Karen tells Sid to inform Jimmi about her theory. A ’Free Doctor Clay’ website has started up. Sid visits but can’t go in due to the riot. Finally, the riot ends and the cell door is opened ut Leon has to persuade Jimmi to go and see his visitor.

Jimmi meets Sid, who tries to be positive. Sid tells him about Carl Fincham, giving Jimmi some hope that there could be an end in sight…
