EastEnders confirms exit for Aaron Monroe

Actor Charlie Wernham won’t be making any further appearances in the soap.

Charlie Wernham has made his final appearance as Aaron Monroe in EastEnders.

Aaron has been in prison since January after his father Harvey (Ross Boatman) reported him for his involvement in a plot to blow up the derelict Argee Bhajee amid plans to repurpose the building as a mosque.

Harvey has visited his indoctrinated son on a number of occasions, and has been conflicted over giving evidence against him.

In tonight’s (8th June) episode of the soap, it was revealed that Aaron had been sentenced for his crimes and sent to a prison in Newcastle.

The BBC have confirmed to Digital Spy that this marks the end of the character’s time on the show.
