New Gold Mountain, Couple Trouble and more Harry Wild for Acorn TV

Harry Wild the Acorn TV Original series is back for a third run of episodes and it premieres on Monday, 13 May 2024 with new episodes weekly through Monday, 10 June.

Retired lecturer-turned-investigator Harry (Jane Seymour) and sidekick Fergus (Rohan Nedd) are hired to prove the lead singer of Ireland’s hottest boy band didn’t kill himself, find out who decapitated a woman in a busy restaurant, discover who murdered a despotic director on the set of Ireland’s leading daytime soap opera, work out how a mystery writer managed to shoot himself in a locked panic room without a gun, and more.

Meanwhile, Fergus plans to contest mum Paula’s (Samantha Mumba) custody claim to his sister. Kevin Ryan (Guilt), Amy Huberman (Finding Joy, Striking Out) Paul Tylak (Kin), and Rose O’Neill also star across the six episodes.

In New Gold Mountain the series will be available to binge-watch from Monday, 6 May 2024.

It’s 1857, and the charismatic headman of the Chinese mining camp struggles to maintain the fragile harmony between Chinese and European diggers when a murdered European woman is discovered to have links to the Chinese community.

The four-episode series stars Yoson An, Alyssa Sutherland and Christopher James Baker.

Couple Trouble is another binge-watch from Acorn TV with series one and two available from Monday, May 27.

Anders and Lise are married, in their 30s, love each other and have a wonderful daughter. They’ve been together for seven years now and the struggles of everyday life have started to affect them both so much that they’re on the verge of divorce.

Through flashbacks told from the office of the couples’ counsellor, we experience the highs and lows of their relationship, exploring what’s driven them apart and what may bring them together once again. Series One and Two comprises of a total of sixteen episodes.
