Nominations revealed for the TRIC Awards 2025

Since 1969, the TRIC Awards have been a cornerstone of the British broadcasting calendar…

The Nominees for the TRIC Awards 2025 have officially been announced, following another year of public voting. The winners will be crowned in style at a ceremony hosted by broadcaster, journalist and TRIC President, Dan Walker, at London’s iconic Grosvenor House, Park Lane, on Tuesday, 24th June.

The Television, Radio and Industries Club (TRIC) continues every year to celebrate the best in television, radio and online. TRIC continues to evolve with the times, now embracing everything from traditional broadcast to the streaming, social and podcasting world.

For the fourth consecutive year, TRIC teams up with title partner Euronics, Europe’s largest electrical buying group, to honour the trailblazers and household names who’ve kept the nation entertained informed and inspired.

With one million public votes cast this year, the 2025 Nominees reflect the hearts and minds of the British audience. The ceremony will welcome over 1,000 guests, including an array of celebrities from the worlds of comedy, drama, entertainment, factual, news and digital media.

In the Entertainment category, 2020 champions Gavin and Stacey return to challenge The Traitors, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and Clarkson’s Farm. There is a Game Show showdown, as The Chase defends its title against Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win, Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel and The 1% Club.

In a clash of the personalities, Alison Hammond squares up to Ant & Dec, Bradley Walsh and Martin Lewis for the TV title. While on the radio, Ally McCoist, Jordan North, Simon Mayo and Vernon Kay are set for a fierce face-off.

The always hotly-contested Soap of the Year category sees reigning champions Coronation Street battling it out against Casualty, EastEnders and Emmerdale. And back for its second year, the Social Media Broadcaster category celebrates viral sensations, with Eddie Hall (The Beast), LadBaby, Rob Beckett and Stacey Solomon vying for the crown.
