On 7 July 2005, terrorist attacks struck London. Twenty years on, this Sky Original series reveals not just what happened on 7/7, but how and why. 7/7: Homegrown Terror tells the definitive story of London’s most infamous terrorist attack, in which fifty-two people were killed and 700 were injured.

Told with unprecedented access to a range of perspectives, the series weaves together first-person testimony, unseen archive footage, and extraordinary investigative detail.

Hear from key witnesses, survivors and their families, investigators, and voices connected to the perpetrators – including the father of one of the attackers, the close friend of another, and a fellow Brit who attended a training camp with the perpetrators.

Across three episodes, in advance of the 20th anniversary, the series unpacks the events of the 7 of July 2005 and the failed second attack two weeks later, exploring the manhunt that followed and the police shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.
