Hollyoaks actor Jesse Birdsall has backed his bad boy character getting killed off.
Fraser Black’s reign of terror will come to an end in Hollyoaks village next week when the nightclub owner is murdered, sparking a major whodunit storyline.
Speaking in the latest edition of All About Soap, Birdsall says he thinks it’s right that Fraser meets a dark end. “I suppose he’s a pretty bad guy, and he did some pretty bad things, so I think it’s probably right that he got his comeuppance in the end.”
In this week’s Hollyoaks, Sandy Roscoe (played by Gillian Taylforth) discovered the truth about her husband’s evil double life. Jesse says that’s he thinks it should be Sandy who brings Fraser’s life to an end: “Personally I’ve always thought it should be Sandy, but that doesn’t mean that’s who the killer is.”
Sandy’s son Joe (Ayden Callaghan) is seeking revenge after awaking from a coma that Fraser’s daughter Grace (Tamara Wall) caused when she locked him in the council flats which were later demolished. Fraser let everyone think that Joe was dead in order to keep his secret life hidden.
This week saw Fraser’s lies exposed as his little black book was handed to Sandy. He made a fresh enemy in his daughter Grace as he tricked her to come back to the village, believing him when he told her that he would take the wrap for everything that had happened. He told the police that she was behind the attempted murder of Joe.
Hollyoaks continues weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and first look on E4 at 7.00pm.
