ESPN Player is bringing the 2014 NCAA College Football season to UK audiences.

Beginning August 27th, the broadband streaming service, which will also be available in Europe, will give viewers the opportunity to watch more than 500 live and on demand college football games online, via iPad and on Samsung and LG Smart TVs. The sports streaming service will enable viewers to tap into College Football with extensive coverage of the regular season, Bowl season and the first-ever College Football Playoff.

Additionally, ESPN’s acclaimed and award-winning pre-game show, ESPN College Gameday, will be available all season long for the first time, bringing authentic build-up and insight into the biggest games direct from the US. Televised every Saturday, College Gameday is ESPN’s flagship show for College Football, with in-depth analysis from a renowned panel of experts.

ESPN Player has been updated to deliver even higher-quality streaming, and in September will launch a newly redesigned interface, with a better user experience, improved navigation and cleaner design. Viewers can jump between live games, keeping abreast of all the latest scores, plays and developments, as well as rewinding at the touch of a button.

The College Football season begins on August 27th, 2014 and is followed by an opening weekend including the first ESPN College Gameday, live from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The neutral venue will  host  the matchup of Florida State vs Oklahoma State;  reigning national champions Florida  State will be looking to start the new season with a good performance against tough opposition.

NCAA College Football is available as part of ESPN Player’s College Pass, with daily passes costing £8.99 and annual subscriptions £109.99.
