EastEnders is launching an online competition as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.
Winners of an ‘EastEnders Golden Ticket’ will be assisted by a cast member from the soap as they tour its iconic set. The soap’s Who Killed Lucy Beale? storyline forms the basis of the competition with entrants having to guess her killer correctly to be eligible for the prize.
Eagle-eyed viewers will see the murder case’s suspect list dramatically decrease over Christmas and in subsequent weeks ahead of the storyline’s conclusion during EastEnders‘ special anniversary week in February 2015.
“We really want to reward our viewers’ loyalty as we celebrate our anniversary – and what better way to celebrate 30 years than to give 30 fans the chance to spend the day behind-the-scenes. But fans will have to play detective in order to earn their prize – correctly work out who killed Lucy Beale and you could soon be walking onto Albert Square.” – Executive Producer, Dominic Treadwell-Collins
Further details and entry to the competition will be released in January 2015.
